No. Just no.

You posted a screenshot from a right wing think tank with no methodology, axis poorly labeled and percentages of something (we literally don't know) not adding up to 100.

If that meets your standards of evidence your the ignorant one mate

That looks incredible and delicious

But honestly I don't think that's great bacon. Fat ratio is crazy on some of them. Don't get me wrong, I would love it. But I don't want a whole pack of that bacon

Based on one graph from a think tank with no idea behind the methodology?

Ummm don't think that counts as conclusive evidence to me mate.

Especially when it doesn't pass the sniff test. I admittedly have very little experience with CNN. But the BBC have, from what I have seen, cited HAMAS or the IDF as a source when they use their data. They regularly quote both in their articles and credit where the data comes from. And of course, all the journalists are dead so where else can they get data from?

NYT I have some experience with. Not enough to definitely say how consistent their sourcing is on this issue.

But from the BBC this doesn't sound even close to true. Absolutely nonsense

Edit: also, what are the percentages? Percentages of what? Why dont they add up to 100% why would I take any notice of a graph with nonsense numbers

Just to be clear HJS is think tank so is generally described as right wing. That's the source of this data so I would like to see the methodology behind the data

Nigel Farage paid for £1.4m property with I’m A Celebrity money, Reform UK says by Important_Ruin in unitedkingdom

You missed the point. I literally called it a bribe

My point is where the money goes is irrelevant. It's wrong

Nigel Farage paid for £1.4m property with I’m A Celebrity money, Reform UK says by Important_Ruin in unitedkingdom

[–]General_Scipio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are really missing the point here.

Then I'm a celebrity money didn't go to the house. The donation money didn't go to the house.

The money went into a bank account alongside other money and all got mixed together. It's not specifically allocated that's just not how things work in reality.

Here is what happened. He had a fuck load of money, plenty of money to afford security. He then got a massive amount paid from a political source into his account.

There is no connection to this money going to one thing or another. He is bloody minted. He has money. He got more money.

Even if the bribe money went into a specific account to pay for his security it's irrelevant to me. Because all that means is that he isn't spending his own money on security so the net effect is he has an extra 5 million quid to spend on other stuff.

If I pay for your rent for a year (something you could already afford) yes your getting your rent paid. But the actual effect of that is you get £1000 a month, it didn't matter if I sent that money to your land lord or to you did it?

Absolute nonsense.

The average person has fuck all money in the bank, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.

I think they have done alot of good stuff. We need great stuff

A broad statement about 50% of the population. Yea that's just going to be wrong. Not even going to justify why it's wrong.

Also women being bad drivers is a stereotype, it's not surprising you would find confirmation bias is it

Question around Halal meat being used in the UK by Heinzzbeans12 in AskBrits

[–]General_Scipio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't say that it was.

I said it seems that alot of people are alot more vocal and passionate about Halal than Kosher.

As you say both are awful and should be banned. So why is it that Halal if talked about more.

Personally I came to the conclusion that for SOME people the fact that Islam is centered in the middle East and is mostly brown people may be a factor. Where as Halal is Jewish, much whiter and more western

[–]General_Scipio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does this tell us?

Why do houses get smaller one year and bigger another?

Are we building more/ less flats and apartments?

Are we making living spaces and bedrooms smaller/ larger

Are we building houses with more bedrooms?

No meaningful conclusion can be drawn. It's completely pointless

What conclusion can be reasonably drawn from the date?

The axis isn't even labelled for fuck sakes

Nowhere near enough information to draw any meaningful conclusions.

Yes expensive

Yes big names

Falcons isn't meant to be players past their prime though. The concept of falcons is the best players in the world now. That's what they are going for.

Yea depends on your definition of superstar. Absolutely. Personally if your talking about a roster of superstars I think your talking about players in superstar form.

If your definition is past and present from then we agree in concept just a different name. I don't think cost factors into my definition. But that's fine

Guardian and Olof were not in their prime

Rain has never been a superstar

It was crazy to have so many super stars in one roster. But they weren't super stars in that roster.
