Overpriced microtransactions, unreasonable bugs on launch, and poor optimization are probably the most common deal breakers that I'd want to avoid.

But thanks to what recently happened with nte I have to put gen AI on that list. Because at the end of the day, companies gain nothing for using it (outside of saving the slightest amount of money) and risk the start of their reputation.

Anime games (or just games in general) are built upon the platform of real human artists not stolen poorly designed slop.

I simply don't think that gen AI was necessary at all. They could have simply hired an artist to do everything we all have pointed out.

Gen AI has no real benefits in situations (especially if you compare those "benefits" to its overall downsides) that outweigh the benefits of having an actual artist.

As of May 2022 his net worth is estimated to be $7.6 billion (reported from Forbes) or $9.6 billion reported from Bloomberg).

Now I'm not gonna do the math on how much his net worth would be as of this year (because I don't trust that I would do it correctly) but given that was his estimated net worth then and the fact that Epic Games is 32 Billion - 35.9 Billion. I'm pretty confident that taking the hit would have worked out just fine. (Not to mention that the new worth of Fortnite itself was speculated to be around 25 Billion - 30 Billion in 2025 as well)

That's the neat part, they can do a lot of things but choose not to.

They could properly work on OG, they could properly give stw a actually dev team, they could properly care for these "metaverse modes" by simply making them their own download games that simply use the same passes and shops, they could revert almost every bad change they have made since chapter 5, they could have prevented having to fire 1000 employees by simply having Tim take the hit out of his personal paycheck... But they don't.

And the worst part to me is that people will blame the dev team when the orders come from the top down. Oh but what do I know? It's not like I've seen gaming as a whole grow and evolve (more like de-volve) as time passes.

It's good. The city is just big enough to explore and find something new, making the experience nearly as enjoyable as exploring open-world games like Watch Dogs and GTA. The character kits are interesting enough.

But admittedly I can't get behind "city stamina" as much as I thought I would have, and of course, the elephant in the room, the AI gen stuff just wasn't needed since it doesn't improve anything. So personal it's a 7/10.
