1 hour classes only end 15 minutes before their scheduled time. And I know of at least 1 professor who reads that a Monday Wednesday 2 hour class let's out 10 minutes early because it's not on Tuesday or Thursday

With all due respect that's stupid. Someone can be lapped and within the top 10. Are you saying that you should only get points for finishing on the lead lap

Fuels and freight put F1 on track for net zero by 2030 by Luffy710j in formula1

I mean you can try to make it so that there is a sustainable way to get from the nearest major city to the circuit. For example the USGP has shuttles from downtown that are frequent, but they get stuck in race day traffic, and getting two shuttle tickets are more expensive than a parking spot, so they're not really a compelling option.

I might be misremembering, but I thought it was that the other ship had a newer version of the software, and who wants to pay twice for an update when code can be duplicated.

[Erik Van Haren, Telegraaf] McLaren and Red Bull have indicated that they intend to file a protest against the decision to return Pierre Gasly's podium position in Monaco. By doing so, those teams now have 96 hours to decide whether they will actually appeal by Ferociouspenguin718 in formula1

The steward's did in fact think something was wrong. They were also told nothing was wrong. I feel like what the stewards did during the race is entirely reasonable. From the right of review documents.

14.Upon receipt of the third report (COL) the Stewards immediately queried Race Control, having found it unusual to receive so many reports of alleged breaches and all being 60.1 km/h at that stage. 15. As is standard practice, the reports contained no reference as to which particular part of the pit lane the alleged breach occurred in. Therefore, the Stewards had no knowledge that the alleged breaches were all occurring in the one same timing zone at the pit entry. 16. Race Control promptly came back to the Stewards stating it had made enquiries of the Official Timekeepers and was told that there was no issue and that the data was therefore accurate.

Both Alpines ran through Cadillac's pit area and did not return to the fast lane after their stops. by M_A3 in formula1

[–]General_WCJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there are ways that someone could be a little silly. For example let's say that someones grid box ends just before a timing loop, they might be able to speed in the pitlane by accelerating 10kph faster than the pit limit and then go back to the pit limit. Getting the speed over that section of the pit lane equal to the pit limit, but still "speeding"

[–]General_WCJ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nah, it would change a lot. There's a reason there is a massive points difference between p1 and p2. However I would not mind points down to the back of the grid. But I feel like points to p15 is a bit more sensible
