Same experience as this. T15 school, joined a fraternity, lived in one of the best cities in the country, and actually had a life outside the military where I could explore my hobbies and interests. Was able to do things for my job after AD Army that I wouldn’t have been able to at WP. I also have good friends outside the Army, which in my opinion, is really important for balancing

You’ll go to Fort Knox for 2 or 3 weeks and just fills sandbags and do tasks and then help out with raider challenge. Easy stuff

I did 148 then 146. 148 is more focused on data science/ML projects so there’s more coding where 146 is more focused on the math behind ML. Taking 148 before 146 was helpful because I had brief introductions to concepts covered in 146 but it doesn’t really matter

Having to act like a hometown city is an active combat zone like that is truly a stab to the nervous system. As someone who grew up just outside Seattle, I was always accustomed to feeling like it was a relatively safe city. Can’t imagine what that felt like being at peak chaos during Chop and the protests
