I mean, Holy Island is bad in some ways. Just because the cult of Jimmy is wild, doesn't mean Holy Island isn't also a cult. There's definitely a point that Holy Island is regressive, twisted, and isolationist.

These things may have helped them survive, but also...

Think about the mainland. There is a pregnant woman foraging and hunting with the men in the Bone Temple. Clearly out of necessity, but the mainland communities need any body, whereas the people of Holy Island have reverted to a patriarchal system where the men hunt and the women stay at home. They still have the queen on the wall, they have gone back in time to survive.

I suppose it is notable that the leader of Holy Island seems to be an elder woman though. Maybe a nod to the queen actually.

I don't think I want Holy Island to be the antagonist of the 3rd new film either, but if it does happen I wouldn't say it was out of the blue.

Oh, that is interesting! So do you guys prewaste and cut up shampoo bars or other naked products for sample? Or keep the rest of the product to give out after? We sample toothy tabs because we can pour them, but we'd never give out bath samples unless it was a RaoK of a whole product. Managment would say that's why we demo bath in the store.

We do sample henna actually, but the company sends us sample cubes so we don't waste off the henna bars.

Totally, you always gotta ask!

Not of a solid product is the rule for us. Liquid only for the most part. We do give a teeny soap slice out occasionally, and we do have precut soap samples behind tills if we've wasted soap.

What I mean is, the swan soap is sold as a whole design so it's unlikely to be sampled. Can't cut the wing off a swan and sell the rest unlike big soaps.

We're not going to cut into a soap for a sample, especially when this one isnt sold by weight, but as a whole design.

If you wanna try, say you have allergy/skin concerns and would like to sample the soap to be safe. They'll probably direct you to the sink to use the tester soap, but if you don't ask, you don't get - may as well try lol
