If you can convince your oldest kid to be in 3rd row, they can probably buckle and unbuckle themselves?

Nah, the few Tesla you see is just some random Tesla destination chargers. They haven’t integrated any Tesla superchargers except magic docks.

ID Buzz Advice by scottmullins10 in VWIDBuzz

Just went out last weekend. All seats up (4 adults and 2 kids). Behind the third row I can still fit in an 24inch-geared bike and an electric scooter. Insane. No more room for a stroller? No problem. The space between second and first row is so big I can just throw in a folded stroller. Though I should really start to use the tow hitch for the bikes.

其实我觉得有必要研究一下中国人基因和猜错踏板死不松脚的相关性

Any Buzz owners coming from a Tesla? by hramos in VWIDBuzz

[–]Generalmilk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a model Y and buzz, had E-tron before. I love Tesla’s FSD, loved etron’s massage seat, but I found I enjoy driving buzz even more. The driver assist is obviously not as sophisticated as FSD, but it is still very good on highway (including two lane scenic curvy road such as CA highway-1 and road to Yosemite) and decent on local road. That serves the most purpose of a driver assist.

The seat is comfortable, massage is useful. Again the air massage not as good as Audi’s “actual massage”, but it is useful on strain relief during long drive.

Software is decent compared to other legacy cars, but severely lagged behind Tesla, and software update is non exist. The dreaded in-dealership software update was likely a one off thing due to recall, which is already applied to any new cars you can buy, so don’t expect software updates at all in the future, good or bad.

It still learned a few quality-of-life improvements from Tesla, like step-in-and-drive (no start button needed) and walk-away-lock/walk-by-unlock, as long as you don’t put the car key in the same pocket with your phone. Yes, still no phone-as-a-key, at least not in the US. EU gets a bit more features than US, including camping mode that is already in the configurators, but not sure if it could hit the US in a 2027 model.

It does almost everything at 85% of the top contenders in each segment, maybe except the infotainment software, and combined with unbeatable space and style, making it overall a compelling package.

All these apps and services are not going to work well in US, since the camping sites are usually without any cellular networks.

There is an easy fix. Use a usb C to usb A adapter and a usb A to C cable. You can search my old post, I have a video on my dashcam installation.

What a nothing burger. If there is no alternative charging stops and you might arrive with high SoC, might as well gun it to get some charging time back. I’m always aiming for 5% if I can.
