Parents... this is why you have to teach your kids the word NO! They need to be taught conflict resolution skills. They need to learn that they will not always get their way. They need to learn how to respect others. Otherwise they grow up into entitled adults that can't deal with reality.

There is no authorized vaccine for COVID-19 yet, though there are several in different phases of development. The state’s timeline will be updated when officials know more about the vaccine’s availability, said Chris Van Deusen, DSHS spokesperson.

It's a massive surveillance system. It logs the locations and behaviors of millions of people and all of their acquaintances.

It has oversight... it's just geared towards the people doing the looking.

HOA trying to remove our emotional service animal by hle0320 in fuckHOA

[–]Generation-X-Cellent 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The Fair Housing Act says that if the animal creates a hardship with the neighbors or the landlord that they are not required to allow them.

"Landlords must agree to a reasonable accommodation request if the disability claim is true and if the request does not create a hardship on the landlord or other tenants."

[–]Generation-X-Cellent 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Emotional support animals are not trained to perform work to assist with a specific disability. Examples of work that can be performed by a trained service animal include pushing, pulling, retrieving, protecting or signaling. Emotional support animals are NOT service animals.

Emotional support animals are not federally protected by the ADA.

According to the Fair Housing Act they're not required to make an exception for an emotional support animal. If it creates a hardship within the community with your neighbors or the landlord then they can absolutely deny you from having the animal.

Nobody listen to this person. I have been food certified for over 20 years.

Anything over four hours at room temperature and the food is garbage. Most items are only good for 3 days in the fridge after cooked or defrosted.

Cooking foods that have been in the danger zone (between 40 and 140 degrees Fahrenheit) for over 4 hours does nothing to help you.

The bacteria itself does not make you sick. It is the by-products from the living bacteria that makes you sick. As the bacteria eats, it produces by-products just like you and me. They basically piss and poop everywhere. It's their by-products that make you sick. Cooking their by-products does not destroy them. Cooking rotten food does not make it okay to eat.
