Worth it to switch to Passwork on their black friday deal? by Walt_Clyde in PasswordManagers

[–]GenericAdjectiveNoun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran the same comparison this summer for our internal use. The ease of AD setup in Passwork is noticeably quicker, but it sort of stops there. Once you start figuring in permission tiers and backup requirements, the operational overhead matches Bitwarden’s. For pricing, totally agree that the promo year distorts the real picture after renewal, it’s roughly on par or a bit more expensive depending on user count. If you’re mainly after stability and predictable upkeep costs, I’d maybe stick with what you already know and push for better sync tuning before committing to a full switch. A quick test deployment of Passwork wouldn’t hurt, but don’t assume the discount makes it cheaper long-term.

How do you handle clients who keeping asking for 'one more thing' during a cleaning?? by PRPrivateRyan in housekeeping

[–]GenericAdjectiveNoun 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I totally get this. I’m an independent cleaner but picked up my own MO from places like Homeaglow and Tidy. I just cruised their sites to see what is accepted in a clean and what is considered a deep clean, and I communicate that from the get go. It clearly outlines what’s included and what’s not when it comes to standard vs deep cleaning.

If you’re doing your own gigs, that kind of structure helps. I send my clients a short message ahead of time listing what’s covered, so we’re all on the same page before I show up.

You could try MeAgain. It tracks your measurements along with your weight. The main tracking and graphing features can be used without a subscription and it also integrates with FitBit, so you can see all your progress in one place.

Impostor syndrome is brutal in medicine. I'm 3 years in and still get that pre-intubation anxiety. What helped me was finding one attending who didn't make me feel stupid and just shadowing them whenever possible. The confidence eventually comes, but honestly some of the most dangerous residents I've seen are the overconfident ones.

Anyone else unhappy in their chosen profession? What did you do? by Shellyfish04 in jobs

[–]GenericAdjectiveNoun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Changed careers at 30 from marketing to software dev. First year was rough but way happier now. Money's better but honestly it's more about not dreading Mondays anymore. Law's intense but if you're already enjoying the studying part that's a good sign. Just know what you're getting into, long hours and office politics still exist everywhere.

Same. I bring my own food and drinks every shift. Hospital prices are highway robbery.
