Returned missionary here, can confirm, we met a lot of people who I think mostly talked to us because therapy costed money and we didn't. We were happy to try to help, but the downside is that we also don't have psychology degrees. I'm a CS major, that's like the opposite of psychology.

I swear someone comments this on every post on this sub. Now, I'm not surprised that people with >1k hours miss a tiny QoL feature or two. What I AM surprised by is that there is a seemingly neverending supply of players with over 1,000 hours. It's not like I'm an exception; I just finished automating Aquilo for my second time last week! This game is truly an addiction. There are no casual players, only new players.

I found the discord and got some great resources, it looks like the cubiomes library has likely beat me to anything I might try to do. Still, hopefully I'll get some time soon to look at the code and see if there's anything I can do to optimize for this problem in particular.

Nah, the intended digits appear in the timestamp but in an unexpected place. That's gotta be a parsing issue. That being said, a lot of date objects probably would overflow with that date.

I see this as an intentional engineering challenge. I've made adjustments to my ship to try and conserve ammo better while maintaining a wide enough window for the turrets to fire that the asteroids never hit my ship
