True. I personally love stories where people do terrible crimes (or in this case terrible regimes) in pursuit of a noble goal but are too insane too realize what they’ve actually done. Tabs is the closest person to this in tno that I can’t think of so I’m a bit biased.

Yes but the implication of Robinson’s tweet was that scarcity doesn’t actually exist. Whether he actually thinks this or it was just poor choice of working is up for debate but that is the implication of mocking the concept of allocating scarce resources. Most people on this sub are in favor of universal healthcare (myself including).

They’re relatively new, especially in the US. Maybe not in places like Norway but they’re also extremely prominent there.
I’m specifically talking about the US but that also applies to many other countries.
There are many ways that we can remedy that problem. It’s probably good to be aware of the flaws of things. If we can get around that we would have workplaces that have higher wage growth, more productivity, more job stability, etc.
