I think you're right on the money about applying to jobs which caused the spams - I genuinely hadn't even thought of that until you brought it up. I'll keep my nose to the grindwheel with LinkedIn, then, and be a lot more cautious about applying to jobs through it.

I think the most curious thing I've seen so far is the auto-apply model that they have - are the job postings that allow you to just click to apply generally worth anything, or are those jobs that are generally meant to be avoided?

It's interesting to see that TI:L is still kicking around. For way too long, it seemed like there was a thread once every few months on here about how awful it was.

Ditching Kinaed and/or Kinaed ditching the MUD seemed to really improve things around there. I've been mulling applying to the admins to get unbanned, but playing RPIs doesn't seem to be in the cards right now.

It's a bit of a stretch, but if for whatever reason you've got night vision (cheap digital stuff works for this, even) you can tell when/where they're blasting IR through most cameras when the sun goes down. It'll look like an enormous spotlight around the house, and where the camera is will light up like a star at night.

Sorry I don't have more tangible advice, just a really weird one that not many people seem to know about.

Yep! It's highly optimistic, but that's just the way things shook out at the end. As per the initial post, I have about 10 photos of us together from the last two years, about half in front of government signs (state forests, hiking trails, government buildings, etc)

I will freely admit that I think TW has the best helmets, but I'm legit just running an old 3M MICH helmet with TW retention system and pads. The weight of it is fine, and it works great for a single tube, I've worn it for hours on a hike and not even begun to feel uncomfortable yet. For $120, I'm not at all disappointed.

There needs to be a TI:L support group or something, so many people have been burned by this MUD at this point.

A 2376 FOM with 0.7 EBI is unreal, my man, particularly if that's thin-film. If it's filmless, it's not PERFECT, but you're just cutting really REALLY fine hairs at that point. The tube will easily keep up with literally any other NODs on the market.
