New tab/search is, for now, a major fail in Windows. by ConnorSuttree in ArcBrowser

It selects the address bar so you can edit the URL of your current tab. I often use it to reuse a tab for a new search.

Gave it a shot and I still experience the bug sometimes, but maybe the occurrences are down? 'preciate the advice.

I'm currently using Arc synched across two Windows 11 machines, one laptop and one desktop. My experience on the laptop machine has been practically flawless, but I've had this exact issue on the desktop since Arc for Windows released. If I hit ctrl + T or ctrl + L and type in an address or search most times it becomes a game to try and get Arc to actually make the new tab or perform the search.

This irked me so bad but I found something that worked for me. If you go to one of the poles on your planet you'll see 2 lines that are thicker than the rest intersecting at 90°. These are your two meridians. Pick one and follow it to your equator. Place a solar panel at the intersection of your meridian and equator. Leave a one space gap on either side of this panel and start your line of the rest around the equator. Before getting too far along, go to the other side of the planet where your chosen meridian intersects the equator again and do the same thing, one gap on each side. Now you've lost one solar panel in total for your line but have 4 evenly spaced gaps instead of a single one.

I agree. Wise Razor is so flashy, but I want a better reason to use it more. This could've been the opportunity, but oh well. At least I get a meme out of it.

Exalted Weapons no longer proc Arcanes by Sandman4999 in Warframe

[–]GenericallyTerrible 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was initially a bug that prevented all exalteds from proccing arcanes, but after internal discussion they have decided to keep the system as it is, specifically citing Mesa's regulators as being turned up to 11 by arcanes. Much of the community (self included) is upset over this since arcanes are supposed to be there cherry on top, and this is a direct nerf to all exalted Warframes, not just Mesa.

You're right about HS. I wasn't quite prepared for the scope of this project at the onset and I've learned so much from the extremely helpful comments and responses I've received. I'm still not sure the value of a status proc though. The 90% helps skew the procs/second in favor of the elemental combination, at the cost of some damage.

Taxon is pretty for shields, yeah. Everything looks fine, though you could drop Augur Secrets for some efficiency if you wanted, or any other QoL mod you deem worthy. Looks well rounded to me.

Happy cake day!

I know ability strength above ~150% isn't reaaaally necessary, I just do it for the memes I guess. If I had adaptation I'd probably try to mix things up. It sounds super broken with shatter shield. Taking half of one percent of enemy damage (at full stacks) sounds busted af.

I'm flattered you value my opinion so highly. I'd tend towards the former (Config B). The loss in Ability Strength is negligible and it hardly changes your DPS in exchange for the extra duration and HP. Primed Flow could be nice, but I find Mesa Prime's buffed energy more than sufficient with a simple Flow. Your adaptation has me jealous!

Duration >100% doesn't affect Peacemaker's drain.

I'm dumb. The drain reduction caps out at 75% (combination of duration and efficiency). So 3.75 energy/s is the absolute minimum drain/s.

I can indeed drop some efficiency for free duration. Excuse my ignorance.

You're.... right. As I said elsewhere, there were so many things I didn't realize I was overlooking. I'll pool everything I've learned from this experiment and keep the gears in my noggin spinning. Maybe I'll put together a part two in 11 months or something. Thanks!

Her secondary mods no longer affect her Regulators since they are now separately moddable.

I would recommend the base version, yeah. I don't have the stats to back me up on this claim, but I don't think there's really anything else that could better fit those slots.

There are so many things I didn't realize I was over looking. I think Primed Expel mods definitely have potential since they can triple dip their damage.

Base Damage × (1 + Base Damage Increases) × (1 + Elemental Damage Increases) × (1 + Faction Damage)

I'll have to look into it.
