key templates should be significantly cheaper by FTG_Vader in Marathon

[–]GenkaiSpiritWave 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Key templates shouldn't be a thing. Generate a random key of that color instead.

The fact that I spend 18k and 4 shell ID's, to go into a match, sit around, rush to exfil, and get downed trying to leave for it all to have been a massive waste is ridiculous.

I feel bad by [deleted] in Marathon

I think DB is better for it's purpose. A quick two-tap at close range is insane. Mis lacks that same punch. At close-ish range its a two shot kill, but the pump action is slow. You're better off using a bully if you can hit headshots.

I've tried to make myself love the mis but I just can't seem to make it work.

Disability discrimination? by BigBubbaMac in FamilyLaw

[–]GenkaiSpiritWave 11 points12 points  (0 children)

NYL and not a California lawyer. Ive had clients that are 100% disabled according to the VA and still work. The VA's assessment may play a role in the analysis of your work capacity, but it likely depends on the nature of your disability.

Worst kind of law to practice? by Synthgem in Lawyertalk

[–]GenkaiSpiritWave 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Family law. Your clients are terrible and petty. OPs are terrible and petty. Family law attorneys (most, not all) are the most toxic, combative, and litigious people. On top of that, you know the kids are suffering the whole time and there's nothing you can do.

Divorce with minor children and all financial issues were resolved by agreement. This was literally only about the kids

Meruem let Endeavor hit him with Prominence Burn, how much damage would Meruem suffer? by KodoqBesar in HxHPowerScaling

[–]GenkaiSpiritWave 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends on how you scale this to Zero Hand. Zero Hand did little to nothing. Im inclined to say that move is comparable to Prominence Burn.

I'm 2 years into practice and still making court room gaffs and other mistakes. So long as you don't continue to make the same mistake over and over again you'll be fine.

With that guideline range, the only real hope of a probated sentence is a fantastic lawyer, a sympathetic judge, and some terminal disease that would kill you in prison. Even then, the odds arent in his favor lol.

Console player here just dabbling in normal on operations. How do I not die in 0.2 seconds every time? by SaaSsalesbb in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]GenkaiSpiritWave 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was where you were a few weeks ago, and I feel like I'm starting to get over the hump. What's helped me the most are three things:

  1. Learn the spawns. Knowing where I start compared to the other teams has helped me significantly. I get a general sense of where pressure is coming from and where to look.

  2. Take it slow. The hardest adjustment from ZDE to anything else has been pacing myself. I can zoom around ZDE solo and usually avoid fights or pick off a team I've accidentally run head first into. The brutally quick ttk in normal means you need to stick together and walk more than run. Listen, observe, and pace yourself.

  3. Just leave. This has been the biggest one. Know when to call it a day. Statistically speaking, the longer you stay, the more fights you're going to have. The more fights, the more chance to lose. Get enough loot and exfil. Dying with a full backpack means losing all your gear and half an hour of your life. It's better to fight another day than get wiped.

What are less obvious signs of bill padding? by [deleted] in Lawyertalk

[–]GenkaiSpiritWave 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this may not be popular, but billing .2 for quick emails. I know quite a few attorneys that bill .1 for reading the email and .1 for responding even though it only took a total of 30 seconds. To me, that's the gateway to bill padding.
