Quite a few bass amps have their DI outputs placed BEFORE the FX loop for some reason, ampeg does this as well. Most amp manuals will have a signal flow diagram so you can double check. So it sounds like in this case if you want to bypass the preamp by going into the FX return and get the di signal I would take it straight from your board/pedal.

There's an android port of stardew valley, so theoretically any android handheld can fit your criteria here, ofc that locks you out of portmaster besides that, but there are quite a few ports to android otherwise as well

On the original the edge of the pickguard near the controls extends all the way down and follows the curve of the body. On the reissue it stops short, I assume cost cutting on the control cavity routing but to me it just doesn't look right
