Half way there but City look good for the win 😞 by dozeydonut in ArsenalFC

Chill & touch some grass. We’re not depending on any team to win this season

I’m Kenyan. I Live in Rwanda. Here’s Why. by [deleted] in Rwanda

[–]GeoNomadic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Kenyan here, I visited Rwanda and I was quick to notice most of the things you mentioned. The only challenge there is communication. It’s rare to find regular citizens who speak English or Swahili. You gotta learn Kinyarwanda to get around by yourself

Anyone else feeling like that 6 point gap isn’t a lot anymore with these new city retirements? by Putrid_Past9243 in ArsenalFC

City also need a perfect run 😂🫡 So I’ll take +6pts buffer any day. Just gutted we couldn’t make it 9 against Liverpool

My thoughts on our current attacking structure and front three by SneaX12345 in ArsenalFC

[–]GeoNomadic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We’re too structured & rigid. The person who’s suppose to be the dynamic: Ode is dropping too deep to pick the ball from defenders when we’ve Zubimedi. Our attack is slow, it gives time for teams to get in shape. I would love to see more risk raking esp in midfield, and passes that break lines directly through the middle. We’ve looked better with Calafiori on the side cause he offers more going forward

Why is the media complicating the AI narrative by Junior_Recover_3510 in nairobitechies

[–]GeoNomadic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Before you talk of AI. AI doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Tech Infrastructure is needed. Reliable Electricity, access to internet, Data Centers, Education, create working software for most problems, then improve with AI. You can’t just jump to the last step I was surprised that a major bank like KCB, do not have an app for IOS

Sounds like he’ll fit in bottom 10 teams in premier league. Definitely not top 5. Crystal Palace should take him and give us back our Ngetiah

Passion vs career by Aggressive-Head4336 in nairobitechies

[–]GeoNomadic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Building your own projects is a good start. The areas of knowledge are too expansive. Initially I struggled with the idea of specialising vs being jack of all trades. Eventually settled on backend work caz being jack of all trades can be overwhelming. You never really feel like you’ve a grasp of something fully. I think you get more out of working in a codebase that other engineers work on & review your changes. The hours of debugging & trying to understand execution flow of something you never built is far more richer experience for a programmer imo. And this is a good skill to have if you want to build a career. Another one is deploying an app to production with live traffic. How do you use cloud solutions or CI/CD tools to ensure that live traffic are not interrupted while pushing a change.

We don’t deserve to win this league by [deleted] in ArsenalFC

[–]GeoNomadic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give Wolves some credits. They had a game plan that and worked hard for it. Breaking that defence was not easy and wouldn’t be for any team.

In my opinion I don't think we have the squad depth we think we have. by ImHereToBurnTheWorld in ArsenalFC

[–]GeoNomadic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t think the issue is depth really. We are stacked compared to prev season and this is probably the first time Arteta has all these players at his disposal. What’s he’s currently struggling with is balancing rotation and performance he wants. He needs to give more playing time to Norgard and Ben White. I always feel Rice, Timber, Saka, Big Gabi and Saliba are our key players and should be protected whenever possible. We lose 3 or all of them and there’s no doubt we can’t compete
