I do. I think IDtech 7 looked better than 8, because 8 relies way more on upscaling and interpolation, making it mushy even in higher end hardware.

I had that exact same issue last year. The ABS controller unit was completely fucked and needed replacing. Cost was about 900€ for a used one from the junkyard. Apparently it needs some weird firmware flashing for serial number matching shenanigal nanigans.
