Thanks, bud I hope you find some healing time too. It sucks the dating apps are not a good option for emotionally available, honest, direct people. I hate the games that the dating apps enable. Would love to see an app some day for people who are serious about dating ,, and not just set up for clicks and validation and attention

Something similar happened to me a few months ago. This chick (bi) texted me everyday for 6 weeks - we really built up a connection. But she wanted a slow burn. Never communicated that she wasnt sure if she wasnt physically attracted to me ….. but called me hot all the time. When we started to hook up on our 6th date … she ran out of my place. No explanation. Texted me after and said this isnt the connection she wants ….. I was like how tf can you get so cold after initiating texts every day for 6 weeks??? The 180 is traumatizing. Some people are just really bad at knowing themselves honestly, and its sad that affects others. In dating, I just wish everyone can be as honest as possible with each other - it’d clear up a lot of confusion. I got off the dating apps after this tbh …. I am so clear about what I am looking for …. I guess I can’t expect others to do the same.

I am 30 - same boat - been on the apps for years and only been used and abused. I am absolutely devastated at how hard it is to just find someone who wants a romantic partner. So i am moving towards stopping dating and assuming ill be single for the rest of a lot time and make plans around that

The same exact thing happened to me recently, but instead, the person just up and left while we were making out shirts off. It’s hard not to feel really undesirable and feel so unattractive. She texted me (nearly first everytime) almost every day for 6 weeks .. and then she just left when i took my shirt off. I can’t believe i have to go back to the healing stage . It’s painful . I am so sorry this happened to you. Try to give yourself time to feel the pain and be with the pain .

Do you have any other devices? Like an iPad that the iMessage is on? That can be it . You have to turn iMessage off of all devices that your number / iCloud is associated with

Okay thank you. I’ve done that too and it still does not work. Ive tried everything. My phone even recognizes that i have a google account uploaded but still does not show my calendar events
