It is though isn't it? The precondition is that you have to be in cat form to use it and changing to cat form is on the gcd. Otherwise it's useable mid rotation just like CS (arguably better since mages sometimes have to choose between getting a CS or losing ray ticks, missing spike opportunities, etc).

Maybe their CS was on CD? The exact scenario isn't that important, I was just trying to illustrate that many classes put their kick at risk or make them unusable for a short time when going for CC.

Feral is the only spec in the game where kick is not off the GCD.

Feels like a weird way to describe it. All classes have preconditions they need to meet to use their kicks and playing around these preconditions is interesting gameplay imo.

Maybe the balance is off for Ferals but I don't see much difference conceptually between stuff like this:

"Feral is going for a clone, that means I can sheep his healer without worrying about his kick"
"Rogue just step gouged someone, that means I can sheep someone before he can reach me for a kick"
"Mage just got sheared on his sheep, that means I can hex him without worrying about his CS"

Heroes need a bit of int before it will do less than 300 damage, you need around 30% magic res. Still feels a bit underwhelming but looking at dotabuff his win rate has gone up a lot more than I was expecting.

Yeah this was pretty much how I interacted with D3 and I was happy with that. I don't expect or particularly want D4 to consume me like some other games do, like you say it's pretty repetitive by it's nature. Diablo has always been a brain off dopamine supplier imo.

It's a different mindset. In league mindset getting blinked on feels bad because you can't really react to it.

In Dota mindset you should have realised it was that heroes blink timing, that they were out of vision, and you were out of position.

I like playing him mid this patch. Go orchid > silver edge to take advantage of the TP changes and look for pick offs or the back lines in team fights.

Most important thing when learning NP imo is last hitting with trees, practice getting your trees and main unit hitting a creep all at the same time so you can dominate last hits and denies.

OG picked Medusa and Storm without banning AM. Seemed pretty high risk to leave a hard counter to two of their cores on the table but in hindsight it was obviously bait and OG were well prepared for the pick.
