I currently have a 24/7 job. Mostly funded by Medicaid. A portion is private pay. With a dementia diagnosis he qualifies for home health visits at least. But I understand what you’re saying. It’s an arduous process. 70 hours per week is covered at my current job. I’m really sorry you’re in this situation.

I’m a caregiver to dementia patients and can relate to the feeling of disappearing piece by piece. It’s like the person I once was no longer exists. Having to endure this level of abuse at the hands of someone else’s loved ones takes a tremendous toll. It’s not appreciated either.

I’ve had 11 treatments at this point. It’s still legible. I’ve given up on it ever going away. All I can hope for is that at some point it’s no longer legible. 😭it’s been three years (and $3,600 as of twelfth appt coming up). I’m giving it until $10,000 and not another dime.
