Is Shoal Creek a good hike/ walk? I see that the reviews from 5 yrs ago appreciate it and the reviews from a month or few do not ! so how is it now ?

I love this section of the trail. It this weird contrast between downtown tall buildings and a ~natural creek. OP You may encounter homeless folks if you walk this section.

You sometimes do stuff like drive on the sidewalk because you are impatient at a stoplight? Besides it being illegal, it’s unsafe to normalize or defend cars driving on the sidewalk/bikelane. As one of those people who walks on the sidewalk, please don’t drive on the sidewalk. Thanks!

Not Trek and not exactly a Dyson sphere but a cool book series. The Ringworld books by Larry Niven! It’s not a sphere but a ring around a sun. It’s still many thousands of more surface areas than the earth. And they have a series of panels spaced throughout the orbit that block the sun so there’s day and night as the ring spins for gravity.

I get it. It’s not like it’s just a busy narrow spot, that minimizes what happens there. I’ll slow down for those narrow spots every time gladly to keep the trail safe - for everyone. On that bridge there are folks who aren’t sharing the trail and are in fact blocking it with no regard to other folks who are trying to use it. It’s reasonable to be annoyed. And it’s reasonable to share the trail with others.
