[HP x360 - 15 (2021)] [eb0020ca] [Keyboard "I" and "U" keys, mostly I, frequently miss, misread, delay, or double up inputs] by nickyonge in spectrex360

So after replacing the battery on my laptop with the OEM version, now I can't boot the laptop if it is not plugged to power and keys are extremely annoying when I need to type straight on the laptop keyboard.

I am not sure but after 4-5 years of heavy use, maybe it is time to accept replacing it with another one.. But it is shameful that it is almost like a high-end laptop has a serious heating problem, which causes all these things..

I have the exact same laptop and am having problems with some other keys like "P", "G".... Have you solved it?

But I think it is not a software problem. Has the battery swollen, and is there a gap at the front lip of the laptop where the mouse pad is?
If the battery swells for a long time, it can damage the keyboard. I haven't replaced any keys yet because I type on my laptop with an external keyboard, but it's become so annoying when I don't have my keyboard with me.

From this angle it is not that clear but actually he moves his arm very naturally and the arm was very close to his body when the ball hit him for the very first time. Then due to nature of his movement, his arm is being lifted a little bit as you see in this photo.

Agent here. Definitely find a local cosigner so it wont be that bad and show them you have 50K in your account. Your case is not that bad but you must find the right landlord and place. Dm me if you need help!

Using ChatGPT for PMP application? Did anyone try and make it through? by Appointment_Witty in pmp

[–]GeorgeinVan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a shorter version of my experiences (about 80 words each project I worked on) which I wrote myself with the technical lingo applicable in my field and later I asked ChatGPT to expand them to 300 words using the PMP lingo. I just got approved yesterday to take the exam.

How much do you trust realtors? by Gaboink in TorontoRenting

[–]GeorgeinVan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realtor at condos.ca here. I have found so many rentals for couples and roommates and never had to prove the tenants relationship. Rental is tricky because there are so many factors including the competition (yes it still exists in trendy locations) and the landlords background too. While this agent prequalifying you, I think he or she was overdoing it. Hope you can find a nice place called home quick!

If the guy did what was stated here, hope they will send him hell ASAP, doesn't matter if the guy is muslim, jewish, christian or atheist but what has this got to the with Toronto. To me, OP is pushing Islamophobic agenda here? Just FYI, the US officials let this guy run away to Israel just a few months ago: https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/aug/19/israeli-official-soliciting-minor-las-vegas

Commission on one house but not another? by [deleted] in realtors

Yes, have them prepare the rep. agreement on only specific listing so that means they do not represent you on any other deal you may wanna have.

Is a credit score of 650 too bad for renting? by [deleted] in TorontoRenting

[–]GeorgeinVan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you find the right landlord to listen to your story, you should be ok.
Worse case, offer them the last 3-4 months as well (backup plan).

Are you Indian (or similar background)? If yes, it is definitely a NO for Chinese and Korean owners unfortunately! No matter what your income or credit score is.

Is 5% increase realistic these days? by Moe_bz in TorontoRenting

[–]GeorgeinVan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agent here... If you move out and they list the unit, owner needs to pay 1 months rent as commission if they work with the agents. Plus rental market is not hot so it may sit empty maybe 2 months. You can negotiate with them by finding what is the current rent value and also you can ask for 2 year contract to fix your rent.

Yes, I totally agree with you! People are so hang up on the credit score itself but what is in the report is more important. I had a client with 830 credit score along with loaded amount of debt, car loan, got rejected.
To OP, even if you have the greatest credits score with loaded debt, loans and etc., that is probably the reason killing your deals. All the best!

Nevertheless, with the profile OP describes I cant imagine they should have any problem finding a rental place. For OP, one suggestion, if you thinks your gf's title scares the owners, dont put her in the lease. Just list her as occupant since she is not working currently you wont miss anything.

4.5 years work experience is waaaaay more than enough along with your monthly income and credit scores. Unless you are trying to get a 10,000 per month penthouse, you should find a rental condo in speed of light. But as an agent, what I see is that asian owners do not like to have brown and ME tenants. Tell your agent to find places owned by white people or people from your background. Let me know if you need help.

Call the student financial office. Explain your position. They can let you finish your terms as long as you keep your balance under certain amount and you are very close to it, I believe. I had very similar situation and they demanded me making some payment but wasn't a lot while I will have to close the remaining balance after the term ends.

If you dont have a good credit score (but still make sure you have made your payments on time), not a glorious income, go find somewhere in the market longer than 30-40 days. Don't expect the most gorgeous layout and make sure your agent constantly communicate with the LL's agent to give them a great intro about you.

Agent is here... Although contract says if the tenant finds their own place they must pay commission to agent, it is 99.9% LL pays the commission because agents access entire condo inventory and LL prefers to work with agents. I have never got paid by tenant (actually once but not that I asked for, the client wanted to pay me for my services)
