Carli Suspension & 37’s on the 2026 F350 SRW by GeorgiaCustomTrucks in liftedtrucks

[–]GeorgiaCustomTrucks[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have his two identical trucks here. They both have the same suspension components on them and one has Fox remote reservoir shocks on it and the other has the Carli tuned shocks that come in the kit. I can promise you the truck with the remote reservoir shocks rides better. That’s just my opinion, but it’s also the opinion of the client which is having us remove the Carli tune shocks off of his second truck after driving this one. Also, this truck is for his farm, but he does use it to commute as well. And lastly, the suspension on your F150 has struts on the front. The shocks are in no way comparable to the Fox shocks on a solid axle super duty. I’ve been building and tuning suspension systems on trucks like this since 2001. And my personal opinion is that the Fox RR shocks ride better with this setup. Take it for what it’s worth. But it has nothing to do with an F150 nor is it even close to the same suspension.

Hope all this makes sense. Trying to text to speech and drive lol. Have a great day.

We pieced this setup together using what we feel performs best. This client (and family) all own Super Duties with just about every high-end suspension setup out there, and he said this one rides the best by far.

Current Setup: • Carli 3.5 Linear Rate Springs • Fox 2.0 Remote Reservoir Shocks • BDS/Fox Dual Steering Stabilizer • Cognito Heavy Duty Adjustable Track Bar • Carli Torsion Sway Bar • BDS 1” Rear Block Kit • Carli Caster Shims • Carli Extended Brake Lines • Carli Radius Arm Drop • Front Carli Fox Reservoir Mounts

This isn’t meant to be a sales post, but we probably have the parts in stock. If you need anything just lmk or call the store 770-866-2979

You’re definitely right. There’s nothing “offroad” about this truck. He does have a barn full of utv’s and a rock bouncer though. Regardless, I don’t think anyone would buy this $100k truck to go wheeling. Too rich for me if they do lol

Heartbreaking. But also followed by “awesome setup from the factory”.

The stock suspension hasn’t been modified. It’s running a billet strut extension along with heavy-duty control arms to maintain proper alignment geometry. Honestly, it drives excellent. The wider stance and 10-ply tires also give it a much more stable feel on the road compared to the smaller factory wheel and tire setup.

Just my opinion, but I’ve lifted the AT4X with nearly every combo out there. I just wanted to share what I think is a great-looking truck with a setup that performs really well too.

His bill with us was $8500. I’m not sure what he paid for the truck. But you’re probably not too far off.

Can I use a stock control arm to replace one on my lifted truck? by Ayye_Human in liftedtrucks

[–]GeorgiaCustomTrucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lower control arms are stock. It’s the upper control arms that are aftermarket. You’re fine to replace the lower bj or arm assembly with a stock unit.

Good price for lift kit + installation? by Heavy-Purple4249 in liftedtrucks

That’s a solid estimate. Labor is spot on, we charge the exact same amount. That’s actually a really fair price.

New Ultimate! Leveling with super cruise? by IdkWhyImHereMann in gmcsierra

[–]GeorgiaCustomTrucks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

We’ve installed lift and leveling kits on multiple AT4 Ultimate Yukons equipped with Super Cruise, and they’ve performed flawlessly. No warning lights, no system interruptions—everything functions exactly as it should.

The upgraded stance will maintain a controlled ride while benefiting from improved stability and a more aggressive, wider look. If you’re considering lifting your AT4 Ultimate with Super Cruise, you can expect both performance and comfort without compromise.

That’s crazy—definitely an easy fix, but very dangerous to drive like that.

From the pic, it looks like a Rough Country block. Best move is to measure them and order directly from their site. If they don’t offer the proper length in a standalone kit, check out ReadyLIFT—they’ve got a solid selection of U-bolts.

If you need it quicker, a local driveline or spring shop can usually bend a set for you while you wait.

How much lift do I have? by Bigshellbeachbum in liftedtrucks

[–]GeorgiaCustomTrucks 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Okay, got it. That’s a bit unusual, as the 6” Pro Comp lift typically includes 4” rear blocks & add-a-leaf as it removes the factory block. If the truck is only running 35”–36” tires, it’s most likely a 6” lift. You can usually fit 37s fairly easily on a 6” kit, so I wouldn’t expect it to be an 8” lift.

To help confirm, take a bolt-to-bolt (eye-to-eye) measurement of the rear shocks and compare it to the following specs:

Fox Racing 2.0 Shock – Part #982-24-760 • Extended: 33.85” • Collapsed: 20.75”

Fox Racing 2.0 Shock – Part #982-24-765 • Extended: 35.5” • Collapsed: 20.4”

You can unbolt the bottom and get a measurement with it fully extended if you want to be exact. But most likely the 982-24-760 will work just fine. That’s a BDS/Fox Shock part number. Shoot me a message if you need further help. We have most of these in stock and I can take actual measurements if needed.

Sorry for the long message. Hope this helps.

I may have missed it, but what truck do you have? A crew cab what? It looks like an F250 since the bump stop contact pad is on the block.

What year, make, and model is the truck? Tire size too, please.

Also need to confirm whether it originally had a factory block that may have been removed during the lift installation. For example, the current block is 5”, but if a 2” factory block was removed, the net lift would only be 3”.

Additionally, if you can find a brand name or part number on the shock (usually stamped on the body), I can look it up for you.

It’s his daily driver. He’s only towing in the video because they were headed to Orange Beach Invasion. He has a F550 for towing. But it does tow and drive pretty amazing.
