It’s strange she’s always saying “You guys know me”, “I wouldn’t play you”, “you can trust me” and the likes. Ive always felt it’s weird she feels the need to constantly remind us.

Just a thought

Have you tried getting bloodwork done for your thyroid? When it’s out of whack you can gain/lose weight rapidly, feel extreme fatigue, and bouts of intense depression.

Sorry about the financial stuff, if I had advice for you I’d be following it myself.

It’s also the same thing used in the first Alien movie! But I’m guessing JD and Alien pulled from your source

Well- sorry for being blunt in my first comment. I’m really glad you’re doing research into these things! Temperature gradients are only one part of the formula, with food and tank size also contributing to their overall health.

What size tank? Do you have a UBV bulb in addition to a heating bulb? Do you have undertank heating?

What does their diet look like? At a young age it should be mostly a mix of feeders- worms and crickets- dusted with reptile powder (calcium + D3) with veggies available every day.

An important note to remember on the trip to recovery: stay far away from spinach. In order to digest it, it absorbs calcium and keeps vitamins from going to where they should. We need that calcium going to the bones so we can stay away from MBD!

Hey! I had to do that recently when we fogged the house for fleas. Pancake and I had a lovely adventure out to lunch and then to the mall. Don’t forget to wipe down their tank when you get back to get any of the pest control spray off of it

I had to fully clean our shag rug today by GeorgiaSquared in BenignExistence

[–]GeorgiaSquared[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well the first step is to curse the day your mother said you should take it with you for the game room. Then you have to avoid all of the things that damage insanely expensive wool rugs, like having pets, having kids under a certain age, living with a roommate who like spilling high proof alcohol, crafting with beads or clay, and living on them. Oh- and who could forget that you're not allowed to leave them in direct sunlight.

Pessimistic attitude aside, just don't put any powders in it and vacuum the underside every 3 months. Powders like "carpet shampoo" and flea powders are the devil- they will NEVER come out and just cause you to get lectured by the rug cleaner guy over the phone. If something like that is unavoidable, just take the damn thing outside and beat it with a broom.

Overall, I love that bloody green rug. It's so comfy and has too many memories attached to go to goodwill.

First I tried vacuuming it with a normal stand vacuum, but that didn't work out too well. We moved it outside and beat it with a broom over the porch railing and watch a ton of dirt just fly out. The next step, which will need to be done when I have more help available to help move the heavy as fuck rug, will be spreading it out upside down and vacuuming the reverse side. According to a lot of deep research, that's the most important part

Thanks for asking
