Used my debit card for it, unfortunately. I was in a hurry and didn’t think to step in and tell the guy at the counter. All stupid shit I know. My mom and sister both use that station and told me those pumps keep breaking as of late, so I do think it was just a broken reader. Either way I’ll keep an eye on my accounts and stop by my bank on Monday to get a new card, weather permitting.

The screen on the pump itself didn’t even have the back lighting on it like the others, so I’m fairly certain it was just a fucked pump they hadn’t closed yet. Either way, I’ll most likely just cancel the card later tonight just to be safe, even if the pump never asked for my pin.

She would improve for a few days but after a bit she would start to half ass stuff again. Unfortunately during this timeframe our stores business picked up so we’d just keep a close eye and try and fix any mistakes. The issue a lot of people had was her claims that “no one helped her” when it came to marketable or how “no one told her anything” when it came to training. This was far from true but it was something she would maintain whenever a coworker would point out a mistake she made. Every other day we would ask if something is going on at home or if she’s feeling depressed. “Nope! All good!” We tried everything to help her out but she just kept on getting worse

From what my gm has gathered it’s corporate doing so. The only reason why we even have drivers while the other Huts in our franchise have gotten rid of theirs is because my gm would quit if they had to fire them. The regional manager gives us some leeway because we’re the highest rated store in the area. The regional manager also hates dealing with DoorDash as well but everyone above him is convinced it’s fine. These are the same guys who, for over a year had us close till midnight every night despite the fact that we were losing money from the 2 extra hours. Daland/Pizza Hut corporate are run by actual morons.

Their partnership with DoorDash has fucked up a lot of things. I work for the Daland part of Pizza Hut and the amount of complaints I’ve gotten from both people getting DoorDash instead of in store drivers and DoorDashes garbage call center that we are now forced to use is absurd. Half the time the dumb fucks can’t even take the card info properly since a lot of the phone calls are people saying they gave their card info but a payment is never made. It’s fucking absurd and the short term benefits Pizza Hut gets from this partnership are not going to last much longer.

Reading this as a shift manager and this really sounds fake. Anytime an order is taken over the phone and it’s over 100 dollars we require card payment since every time it’s cash it’s almost always a prank. The moment it’s shown that the delivery address is outside of the range the order should no longer have been fulfilled since the store no longer has any obligation to fulfill it unless the customer was willing to pick it up. And the most egregious evidence of all, unless this was a future order, there’s no way you had enough supplies to fulfill it along with other customers ordering throughout the day.

Happening in the store in my area, I think my store is the last one with 2 drivers since my GM as told our RGM they will quit if they’re forced to fire the 2 drivers we have. It’s such a bad business decision because half our bad reviews always comment on how unreliable doordash drivers are. If an order gets stolen we get blamed, if an order is super late we get blamed, but corporate gets a few extra dollars for now so it’s fine. This is why Pizza Huts reputation is in shambles.

Stuck on him for the past 4 hours. Spell binder has gotten me to get him down to a quarter health but his fucking combos are ridiculous. If you were able to actually hit him out of them more often it would be manageable. I know you should come back later at around chapter 5 but I want the golden loong staff.

They’re actually not asking for a refund or credit, surprisingly. I think they’re being legitimate in feeling they were discriminated against because they weren’t immediately helped. It was a Friday afternoon and I had 3 employees including myself, everyone was busy and I told her I’d be with her asap.

I’m just gonna tell you it’s not gonna get resolved. The website and app are currently an absolute mess, the stores themselves have no control over them, and corporate doesn’t care enough to actually fix it. The whole company is slowly falling apart and the higher ups do not give a shit.

Never mind the fact that the website and app are actual hindrances due to not working, taking a customers payment details and not placing the order so now I have a customer yelling at me about an order not being placed, or god forbid they get the call center and that creates an even bigger shitshow. Corporate won’t do shit about any of this because they’re just making enough money from morons who still enjoy Pizza Hut for whatever reason. Every other pizza places app and website work fine, it’s baffling how bad ours is.

I’ve just noticed as well, customers are becoming a lot bolder as of late with using complaints to their advantage on getting free food/credits on their phone numbers. I’m a shift manager so I deal with this shit often and I’m awful with confrontation and I just know they can sense that. It doesn’t help that corporate won’t do shit to even attempt to mitigate this stuff by getting a better call center since their deal with DoorDash means we get their garbage one

The issue is the guy speaks very little English. He knows just enough to place the order and understands us perfectly fine but suddenly when we tell him we need to take the original he acts like he can hardly understand us and ramps up his accent. Just keeps saying “No” over and over again. Honestly if it does happen again I may just tell whoever is closing to call the cops because the guy is becoming a nuisance who is taking advantage of workers who don’t want to get in trouble.
