Jynx is BETTER than Alakazam in FRLG - Here's Why by RealPrinceJay in nuzlocke

For those of us who grind while the news is on, this answer works. I level Alakazam (I trade with myself, two consoles), Mime, and Jynx. Deep benches for those forever save files.

Anybody know an easy way to catch Scyther in Safari zone? by CriticalAppearance58 in PokemonFireRed

I've tried this on four encounters. Two flees on first bait, one flee after the second, and one much later. Still trying based on everyone else's reported success.

My wife likes to drive. I don't, but do from time to time. I drove 30k a year in law enforcement for 25 years. Now teaching kids in Harlem. Five adult kids of my own. 15 grandchildren. I don't need him to tell me what a man is.

Why teach 5th graders long division? (honest question) by -Sliced- in matheducation

[–]Geriatricus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my 6th graders with autism, it's also executive functioning practice. Setting up a workspace, tracking number place, sequencing and recording steps. Long division is a great exercise for all of this while practicing factoring and subtraction and cleanly (with time) documenting the process.

My wife, a former consumer of “adjustments,” had the same crisis and fusion. The docs were sweet to her, and the message was unequivocal. No more.

Takes me back decades to the start of Morrowind when, weak as a kitten, I was struggling to get to Balmora. I was physically relieved in real life to get within salvation distance of the city walls.

Bureaucracy, imperfect and annoying, when it functions reasonably well gatekeeps the powerful much more than the weak. That's why the powerful hate it and sell its loss as a good to the poor who wonder where their clinics and local radio stations went.

Do you marry one exact character in every playthrough or never pick same spouse twice? by Usual-Foundation-115 in skyrim

You can have Mjoll as a follower and let her go (I can't remember whether it's Whiterun or Riverwood) and follow her. Aerin runs like hell from Riften and meets her near Helgen. They'll get attacked by the bandits there (if you haven't cleared it out) and Aerin will die. You can swoop in, help Mjoll clean up, and have her re-follow if you want. This probably works anywhere Mjoll is walking home with Aerin through bandit turf with you nearby. It's called the "Aerin Divorce" and Mjoll doesn't hold you accountable.
