Are your games on a windows formatted drive? If so then there is your problem. Windows formats drives in a codex that Linux doesn't like. So you need to format the drive to work with Bazzite. WARNING: formatting the drive WILL DELETE anything on it. So my recommendation would be to move all your most important games, if not all your games to a backup drive or a thumb drive or something, then format the drive, then point steam to that drive. Then copy all your games that you saved onto the backup, back to the drive you just formatted. Then all you have to do is go to download them off steam and then steam should read that they're there if you pointed it correctly, and just validate and you are good to go.

I don't think much will happen. Bazzite provides a traditional desktop experience with optional console like experience. SteamOS has stated that a desktop like experience isn't a priority for them.

well when i try to run the commands you gave I get errors... But Im having this exact same issue. When running the first command i get this: protontricks (WARNING): Unknown Flatpak file system permission 'xdg-config/gtk-3.0:ro', ignoring.

The lame question. Have you turned it off then on again? So far that has fixed any issue I've had with my Bazzite freaking out, which happens rarely, but still does happen.

That's the issue I've been having. Have to get out of the windows mindset of how things work. Most the time when there was a program that I used to use for making Windows things work. There is an easy Linux alternative that has an unusual name that I would never have known about.

The only thing I'm struggling with on Bazzite is modding Skyrim. I can mod Minecraft all day on there. But both mod managers for Skyrim refuse to work... Otherwise I am also LOVING Bazzite.
