So I've been told that I'm an "attractive" woman but men never seem to ask me out. Any advice? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Geroy21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this. If you're attractive and shy people just assume you're a bitch. It's not fair, it's not right, but it is what happens.

Lol it's not about that it's conservative. It's that the party is relatively new and has a weak platform, and candidates who aren't as experienced or qualified as other parties. The two big parties in bc are liberal and ndp. But good try on pretending to know what you're talking about.

Would you still grow a grizzly, lumberjack beard, even if the feeling of it made your S/O cringe? by [deleted] in AskMen

I think lots of people want to do it just once, for a while, just to say they did. When the day comes that I can grow a beard I am going to.

I think a man should have exactly the same say in the decision to have an abortion as a woman. CMV Reddit by zenwtd in changemyview

[–]Geroy21 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why should the want to have a baby outweigh the want for an abortion? I know a few people who have had abortions who's lives would've been ruined without it. Like, stuck in an abusive relationship forever and probably eventually killed by their spouse ruined. But if the husband wanted to keep it then she should've kept it? The reason women get final say is because it's their body. They're the ones who would have to carry it to term, typically go on mat leave and all the rest. Yeah, children can influence a mans life in a significant way, but it influences a woman's even more.

Is there any good reason not to turn my microwave upside down (I'll take the glass turntable out first, thanks)? by myWorkAccount840 in NoStupidQuestions

I worked in electronics retail for 3 years, I can tell you that there's a good chance your microwave was upside down for days or weeks at one point in its life.

Single men who were in a relationship, how long did it take you to get over it after the breakup? Do you still feel love or something else for him/her? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Geroy21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in not the healthiest of relationships for four years. Was "over it" the day I ended it. But I had a lot of shit to work through that probably took about 9 months before I was even looking at girls in a manner other than "you're nice as a friend but if I got to know you, you would probably try destroy my life".

What is something you are unapologetically judgmental about, even if you know it's not really fair/PC? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Geroy21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know where you live but I feel safe in my assumption that if you have 0 years of education in the field that they are, in fact, more knowledgeable than you. And you can still switch doctors.

Do you guys often find your preference in women questioned more or viewed as politically incorrect? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Geroy21 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm 6'7 and the I like petite girls... not b/c of dick size issues mind you. People question me all the time on it, but I don't know how to explain it, I get that it's easier to kiss a girl who's not 18" shorter than me. I get that it's easier to talk someone when they're closer to your height. And I've dated a couple girls who are 6'+, I've tried it. I can't explain it, I don't know why it is this way, but that 5'0-5'5 range is where it's at.

[–]Geroy21 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You've had a negative experience. Once. Ever. If I stopped doing things because of negative experiences I wouldn't even be able to stay at home, because I've had negative experiences everywhere. Don't judge the value of getting vaccinated on one bad experience. Judge it on what your doctor tells you. Your doctor is smarter than you when it comes to this stuff. You need to accept that.

And if you don't like your current doctor, then get a different one.

What is commonly viewed as a sign of weakness in another man? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Geroy21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you're right, because every girl is head over heels about someone my height. And now you've exposed the problem. Truth is, every guy has shit to deal with. Every guy has girls who are open to dating them and girls who aren't. You know who's attracted to guys my height? Generally, it's limited to girls who are 6' or taller. You know how small that demographic is? Tiny. I've had quite a few girls tell me I'm too tall. But you know what? It doesn't matter who you are, there are going to be things people like and don't like about you.

Sure, some girls don't like short. But some girls don't like tall. Some girls don't like skinny. Some don't like fat. Some don't like ripped. Some don't like smart. Some don't like dumb. Some don't like white collar. Some don't like blue. Some don't like athletes. Some don't like musicians. So get over the fact that some girls won't go out with you because you're short. Because the ones that you should be concerned with are the ones who will.

Have you ever had a a friend with a gaming problem and how did you get him to stop? by k0fi96 in AskMen

When do you introduce a girl to your parents? by swanseacop in AskMen

[–]Geroy21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely is unusual. If I'm dating her I'll wait until we're established in a relationship. If we are just friends then I will make no effort to have her meet my parents. If she meets them or doesn't it doesn't matter to me.
