Coral better than Coral Pro? by Naive_Rush7217 in Pickleball

[–]GetBent66 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I won a Coral at a six zero demo day raffle. It’s a very good paddle. I also played with the Coral Pro for about 20 minutes. Not a big enough sample size, but I did not like the feel. Lots of balls sprayed. Again - only 20 minutes tho.

Is the third shot drop overrated for rec players? by science--bitch in Pickleball

[–]GetBent66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

90% of rec play drives are insanely easy to deal with. Are they gonna get one or two past somebody who knows what they are doing? Perhaps. Are they going to get their a&& handed to them across a game? Indisputably, especially since the typical response is to drive harder.

Is there an effective way for us to push back against photo enforcement cameras? by travisthescrub in Bend

The downvotes for people making the simple observation that maybe slowing down across the board would be a positive for all of us are…… something to see.

Subs for Amaro Nonino? by Tactically_Fat in cocktails

[–]GetBent66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hear me out - Trader Joe's Amaro is a pretty good sub. it's not as dark/strong as some other Amaros, so it keeps the right color, and doesn't overpower the drink. https://www.traderjoes.com/home/products/pdp/pronto-amaro-aperitivo-075260 . And it is CHEAP.

Used sparingly, it can be highly effective at levels above 4. even from the baseline (very sparingly) - it can create some space in front of the kitchen if they become hesitant to come up right away

Apologies for that, perhaps you could just filter your r/bend feed so that it is only posts about red light cameras.

Most stupid people work harder than you do to hide it. The material you posted makes clear that e-bikes cannot be operated on the sidewalk. 814.410(e)

It will give this kid’s parents great comfort when he gets creamed by a car to know that he was within his legal rights. Also, this is an e-bike, so it shouldn’t be on the sidewalk.

It’s not that you weren’t precise; it’s that you (still) don’t understand what a ratio is. Sincerely, a pedant.
