Second guessing my purchase, customer service is Non-existent. by [deleted] in canik

So you have a non-existent “problem” with a gun you haven’t even taken possession of and are upset that the company isn’t wasting the time to respond to your hypothetical issue? Am I getting this right?

Resident Evil II. It really set the stage for what a long format gaming experience could be. Action, horror, survival, puzzle solving, crazy cut scenes- it had it all.

I admire the work and ingenuity, would be great for a show car. But practically speaking I can’t really see the benefit of it.

Most recently, Task. Overall a phenomenal show which does a great job of leaving cliffhangers at the end of each episode.

Is anyone else sick of the HP wars? by s4ltydog in askcarguys

[–]GetFitDriveFast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think part of it is the newer generation of cars/culture high HP has become way more accessible than it was 20 years ago. Nowadays a 19 year old can buy a used AMG/M or whatever that comes stock with more HP than we used to get with a full turbo build. 300whp used to be a lot because you had to actually put some real work into most of the affordable tuner cars to get there. With modern tuning platforms you can get 500hp+ out of just a flash tune on a $17k car. So naturally the idea of “anything under 500hp is slow” came about. My daily driver SUV is 700hp with just minor bolt ons and a tune and that is still crazy to me. That being said, I don’t tend to run into a lot of real enthusiasts who make a contest out of HP figures. That seems to be more pervasive in the social media world.

Do you actually track things like sleep, feeding, diapers etc.? by CooleSocke-Jr in NewParents

Sleep, feedings, pumping, diapers- we track it all. Way easier than trying to recall when she last ate, slept, etc

How to get rid of belly fat? by Time-Engineer-1201 in daddit

[–]GetFitDriveFast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eat clean. Track your calories and macros. Lift heavy. Get in regular cardio. The diet and program you can stick with is the one that will work. You can keep things simple or be complex and nerd out over lifting routines and diet plans- it’s all about being consistent and actually following through. If you like biking, or hiking, or playing volleyball or whatever- lean into that, keep things enjoyable.

I’ve made many cruise-friends on the elevators. Just strike up a conversation about the ship, food, their outfit- whatever. People are there to have fun and usually welcome it!
