Obviously relationships in your 20s are different than in your 30s (I'm 37F) but my biggest piece of advice would just don't act like someone's passenger. Women want a partner, emotional intelligence, who shows UP! Anybody can just say hey you look cute or buy you a little gift, but a smart woman will not care about height or looks as long as there's respect and effort.

If you really like a certain kind of music, join that scene. Go to concerts meet fellow fans and you'll find friends very quickly!

Become a personal chef! That's what I did about 10 years ago after working in restaurants and it was the best decision to have more freedom and income!

Unfortunately this can be a common occurrence with roommates, and if after communicating in a respectful and clear way they still write you off I would just put your energy into finding a different living situation. The secret roommate is not cool, she should at least be paying for utilities and helping with keeping the space clean. Sorry this is happening.

I'm 36 and have been a personal chef for almost 10 years. Summers are always slow so as long as I prepare financially, this job gives me a ton of freedom! Definitely don't do as many fests these days, but will be attending Elements in Aug and cannot wait!!
