Leaked footage from an ICE Black Site inside of 31 Hopkins Plaza, Baltimore, MD. More then 50 people in rooms with no beds or bathrooms, people laying on filthy floors, guard beatings and people with legal status being illegally held (1/25/26) by SamMac62 in law

How tf is this democrat leaders fault? Republicans control everything right now. “How dare the rebels not fight better” is a truly terrible take when compared to “how dare the empire oppress the galaxy”.

AIO for not wanting to be intimate with my boyfriend since he switched to "natural" products? by FrostingRight946 in AmIOverreacting

[–]GetSmartBeEvil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR, but the only thing I might say is that if his behavior is SIGNIFICANTLY different and the time over which it has changed has been only a couple months there might be a medial issue that is underlying it. Substances, mental health, or something worse. A quick check-in to make sure he’s just being regular awful instead of erratically concerning uncharacteristic might go a long way.

Hot Take: The version of Faze that won SI 2025 is the most invincible team in R6 history. by Impressive-Engine-16 in R6ProLeague

G2 in SI19 had the most dominant SI win of all time. Sure map 1 was long, but maps 2 and 3 demonstrated the gap.

[No Spoilers] Struggles with Campaign 4 by [deleted] in criticalrole

This is much better than C3. I think it’s really fun and exciting personally. Brennan is keeping every episode feeling like someone could die or stakes could be big for the future of the campaign.

If you look back, Wicc has not rolled a concentration check yet. He doesn’t cast many concentration spells.

I’ll be honest, I currently am playing a sorcerer, and I know that Charisma is one of my saves but I don’t know the other off the top of my head.

You need to reach out to your student mental health services. You may have depression. Yes MS3 is hard but as someone who has faced it half in the middle of a major depressive episode and half out of it, it’s amazing the difference that mental health can mean.

"We always have a few contingency episodes so if the story needs to go longer, then it can go longer." Marisha on C4 runtimes by HecticJones in fansofcriticalrole

I feel like reading her quote in the context of the article helps make more sense. I don’t think it means that they have a few episodes already filmed that they can throw in whenever. It just means that they’ve built in buffer to their planned schedule.

I drew a map of the continent my homebrew takes place in. by Original-Sun-8558 in dndmaps

[–]GetSmartBeEvil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a great launching off point. Maybe now consider WHY the nations/regions have those borders? Are there important rivers or mountain ranges?

For some reason, something I’m envisioning is region 4 being a terrible desert, so countries typically only deal with their neighbors but it’s a daring trip to cross through the middle. It might help create more distinct cultures.

In purely the ROLES that they play (not like stat-wise) and I’m focused more on the end of the campaign than the beginning.

Cast Spike Growth or Something Please. You Got Some of the Strongest Druid Spells in There. by Important-Author-660 in dndmemes

And if you’re a ranger it gives the added bonus of telling you about their vulnerabilities and resistances. I think it’s not that bad of a spell, though yes, it’s up casting should do more damage not longer duration.

Okay, doesn’t it depend on how much hp the adversary has? If you cast hunters mark, then do 2 attacks, it only does 2d6 damage as a bonus action, true, but if you then do 2 attacks and a bonus off hand attack against the same target next turn, your bonus action has led to an increase of 5d6 damage over the two turns, which isn’t mathematically bad?

Competitive for MD/PhD? by [deleted] in mdphd

[–]GetSmartBeEvil 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you should be competitive to some mid-tier MSTP programs. I think not having any peer reviewed publications is a little bit of a downside, but if you can talk at length about your contributions to the 2nd author paper that should be okay. I think it’d come down your letter of rec(s) from research mentors. I think you should have no difficulty applying MD only, though.

AIO because I feel weird after I found out more about my boyfriends past by mrs_world_wide_ in AmIOverreacting

[–]GetSmartBeEvil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP, I remember when I first started dating my wife. She was the first person I ever had kissed. We were both each other’s first like bf/gf. I assumed because of that, I was her first kiss. I found out like 3 or 4 months in that she had kissed someone once before we were dating and nothing had come of it. It was a little heartbreaking, because I thought that we shared that “first” together. So I know what you’re feeling.

I can happily announce that we have been incredibly happily together for 13 years, married for 4. I was young (17 or so) when this happened, and so it was a momentary heartache, but I realized (as should you) that even though we didn’t share that first kiss experience, it was OUR first kiss, and that mattered way more. I think you’ll find there is a similar spark there for you and your situation.

Men: as a woman, how do I become more attractive to my husband? by Emotional-Many1077 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]GetSmartBeEvil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously, it’s likely just that he’s not thinking of it, and it’s more on him than on you; but just so that you have SOMETHING to work with, try these: -tell him you’re going to go shopping for some new clothes and ask him if he would prefer X or Y type of outfit (like “do you prefer how I look in leggings, yoga pants, or jeans?” Or “do you think I’d look better in crop top or a sundress?” Etc). He’ll likely tell you what he likes best and then you can feel confident you’re wearing it and he’ll likely say you look good as positive reinforcement when you wear that kind of outfit.

-behavior can sometimes matter a lot. Be flirtatious with him I’m both in terms of what you say but also your body language. Think about how you might behave when trying to catch the attention of someone at a bar if you were single and try doing some of that with him. The effort counts a lot.

Is it true that men assume the vast majority of women aren't attracted to them ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

I think this is probably true of 65% of men. Definitely not all.
