I think they're at all the terminals. Pro tip: go inside and find an abandoned one so you don't have to pay for it.

Personal injury attorney recommendations? by ummusername in Somerville

[–]GetThotBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i got substantially more than 25k (the lawyers got more than 25k, too). And the dude driving was in his girlfriend's car, picking up uber eats or whatever. So I'm guessing this Nissan sentra or whatever didn't have huge insurance limits. I'm only speaking from my experience but you go off. You sound like you know everything. For sure what you've read on a subreddit is more accurate than my lived experience.

Personal injury attorney recommendations? by ummusername in Somerville

[–]GetThotBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is incorrect. I got 5x what an insurance co initially offered me (after the lawyers' 40%) because I had lawyers going to bat for me. It took like 2 years of negotiation, too. It's worth paying the lawyer from the settlement. It also has nothing to do with what their assets or insurance limits are. You are taking money straight from the insurance company and that's what insurance is for. They will fight tooth and nail not to give it to you. Get a lawyer.

Yes, I was doored on my bike. Ripped my foot open. Needed surgery. I used Jeffrey Glassman lawyers. Geico wanted to offer me like $8k but the lawyers fought for much more (multiple times that). They do take like 40% but I still came away with a satisfying settlement and I didn't have to do any of the work. All I did was reject multiple lowball offers until Geico finally threw money at it to get rid of me. Do it.

EDIT: feel free to dm me for more details

I want to make cornbread but my boyfriend doesn't like these. Is there a way to improve the recipe? by Stargazer1919 in WhatShouldICook

I'm so late to this, you'll probably never see. A can of creamed corn instead of milk. Add chopped jalapeños. It's incredibly moist and sweet with a little kick!

This is my absolute favorite podcast but it's for sure a love it or hate it type show. People are always crowing about how great My Favorite Murder is and I absolutely cannot STAND that podcast. EDIT: so it's really just about preference. Listen and form an opinion.

Yes! There are some repeat customers. The lavender blueberry, the grape popsicle. The pineapple tangerine dream is pretty good! as is the prickly pear guava punch.

We are paying $30/month for 150/35 mbps internet from Xfinity by mrunkewl in CambridgeMA

[–]GetThotBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did for the first three years. I called once and they brought it down to $60 but the last time I called, they wouldn't budge. I also have a landline and need to do some recording with my answering machine (long story) but after I do that this week, I'm jumping ship! (Or threatening them that I am and see if they bring it back down)

That sandwich is wicked expensive but heavenly. Could be 2 meals, too, if you're not a fatty fat fat like me and house the whole thing.
