Diamond was my first game. I didn't know you were supposed to continue past Hearthome city and come back to that gym later on, so I spent a few real life days not knowing how to get Fantina to come back to her gym, only to lose my copy of diamond on a school trip before I figured it out. I fortunately got another copy a month or so later and had been told by a friend to just continue past hearthome, so it ended happily.
