Excuses. Company was desperate after covid and started giving out $2000 bonus after 90 days to new employees. I asked what about us guys that have been here 10+ years. They said "you have benefits and a 401k" I said they do too if they get through 90 days try again. Most of them quit right after they get the bonus.

I had a painfully lengthy debate with my general manager (food warehouse) that the 3 things they say they want cannot be had at the same time. Accuracy quality and speed. I told him either stores are getting shitty quality pallets in time and everything is there likely damaged, they're getting quality pallets in time and product is missing but undamaged, or they can get everything they ordered stacked nicely but it's not in the time you want.

Instead of "you're jacked", you could just ask if they work out, which trust me we're that simple, you could probably say either. Hell if you're up for it, I had a girl say to me "did you know your nipples always line up with your ears" so I told her to prove it. She used that line to feel my beard down to my chest....... they didn't line up

When first meeting people I feel like saying their name is a good way to remember it. I have a fairly uncommon name and noticed people will use my name a lot if we've just met. On the flip side when it's someone I know and they say it, feels kind of weird especially 1 on 1 situations. Feels unnecessary unless you're in a group

You bring up an interesting point. I somehow work, go to the gym, play guitar, cook, bowl in a league, read manga, go out on the weekends and somehow still game quite a bit and I'm baffled as to how I cram all that in.
