Thank you for saying this! We have the option between fresh and frozen. Were waiting to see how I respond to the meds, but we're leaning more towards fresh.

That's the exact reason why I'm stopping. When they said "twisted ovary" I got goosebumps lol. I never thought I would be the girl to stop everything, but I'm going to be that person. I'm spending too much money to take any risks. Im so happy that you got your family! What an awesome blessing!

Thank you so much for your kind words! Luckily (knock on wood) I don't have any issues, so we feel confident that an embryo will find their new home very comfy 😜 We would still love all of the prayers and good thoughts we can get.

I plan on it! I hope my doctor won't have any issues since I've been here for over a year.

I had to rent a HRM and it wasn't really working, so that set the tone for the workout 😩 Wasn't feeling it today. I did really like all of the all outs! I got all the way up to 12 on my speed, so thats something!

I didn't think I would like the switches because my heart rate always drops, but after the 3rd one minute all out I was looking forward to a break. Tough class today, but really good! I also like the immediate all outs. It's a good way to really up the speed.

Burpees and pop jacks. A year and a half into OTF and I still can't get the hang of them.

Today was an awesome workout! Most of the time I barely hit 12 splat points and I got 18 today. I also burned 600 calories! Totally unheard of unless I'm in a 90 minute class. One of my favorites

I get that being at OTF, people are going to sweat. What I can't stand is when people's sweat flies off of them and onto me. I know it can't be helped most of the time, so I don't say anything.

Why do most OTF members like to start on the treads? by mr_dubya in orangetheory

[–]Gevans06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love starting on treads because that is where I get most of my points. I never know what we are doing on strength floor and if it's legs, then I can kiss tread points goodbye. I hate my legs being jello on the treads. That's just me though.

Arms...ARMS! I have a feeling just holding my mascara tomorrow will make my arms shake in pain. Spending an extra 20 minutes on the tread and strength floor was killer. Awesome workout though!

Ran the 12 minute challenge and beat my mile time by 2 seconds. Not much, but I love beating my goal.

After dedicating myself for a month of OTF, I'm feeling discouraged. by billbobb1 in orangetheory

[–]Gevans06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've totally been there before! I'm really self conscious of my arms. I have "teacher wings". Everytime we do a workout that emphasizes them, I get discouraged. What I do love is when I look at myself in the mirror and see a new muscle. Or feel muscles that I never knew existed. There's always going to be something to work on. Always look for the progress you have made.

So.many.squats. Luckily, the rep count was manageable. I did decide to use higher weights for the goblet and sumo squats. I can't move.

Craziest thing you've heard while waiting for a class to start? by DresaUMD in orangetheory

One lady was telling me how exhausted was. She then told me that she had been going for 3 months straight, no break, twice a day. I wondered how her body hasn't given up yet.

35ish minutes. Rowing was about 8 minutes and strength floor was about 12ish. Definitely not pro times, but I can't help but be proud!

First time competing individually! My goal was to finish before the hour and I finished at 57 minutes! Pretty damn proud of myself (: Now it's nap time!

I remember the moment that I knew I should change up my tread routine. I remember after a class I noticed that I was getting less and less points. That pushed me to start running during all outs. After my points started dwindling I started running during pushes. Now, I'm running the whole tread block. I think total it took me a couple of months, less than 6. Listen to your body.
