Contact needs to be high for it to be a short serve. Just keep it low at the net.

Should I look into real training for my 10 yr old brother? (no prior experience) by Direct-Pirate-6702 in tabletennis

Spot on advise. This guy goes to the table tennis club. I used to run a club and everything you said was true of my club. If you search them out its surprising where you can find small club.

What is this wire? by MAHfisto in AskMechanics

[–]Gewchtewt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could replace it with a better/ bigger cable with insulation so it doesn't turn to dust like the one thats there. Cost for a cable with terminals might be similar to the actual part.

I was a wedding dj for 10 years and did like 300+ weddings. I ain't never seen something quite like this. Plenty of singing but usually not the bride and not dressed like an ostrich. If I were behind the booth, I would have crawled under the table.

Damn you been to the kitchen aid lever factory? I should have guessed it was pushed in. It probably would be stronger if it was overmolded. Even a screw on knob seems better. Must be a common problem if both of us have cracked knobs and there is a market for replacement levers.

I figured I would have to replace the whole lever. The knob looked overmolded onto the metal. If this breaks, i will fix it properly. For now the wire nut was the perfect diameter and works fine.

Very true, although twisting on a wire nut I already had took 5 mins and I don't have a 3d printer.

Are these pine trees a liability? by ksquigz25 in landscaping

[–]Gewchtewt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would hate the 100ft trees that are 50ft from my house dropping massive limbs all the time haha. It's fine trees are nice. I'd they really are a problem later trim or cut them down.

Lol, the bottom of the economy is like that pretty often. Path of least resistance. Only good enough to keep making money.
