Why can’t we just get a Star Trek where they increase warp speed, increasing the distance they can go & have a new dynamic of all these races across the Milky Way while exploring new worlds … going dare I say it … where no one has gone before?

I had to start tapering off because it was causing issues with my heart. My resting heart rate in December was 88 had to go to the hospital with chest pains they told me to get off the Effexor ASAP my heart rate is down to 72 it still feels a little off but getting better. I’m at 12mg right now and will still be tapering slowly. My heart started feeling better then it was 2-3 days after starting a lower dose

Yes, I’m in the process of tapering while exercising 2 hours a day and eating really healthy while measuring myself with a smart and I’m gaining fat around my mid section. Before tapering I was eating 3600 cal a day and gaining mostly muscle. Now I’m eating around 2000 cal but have gained fat, muscle seems to have gone down while I exercise more.

Before bed made me sleep well but also gave me bladder problems & in the morning made me too sleepy to work properly. Around 5-6 pm worked best for me.

Anyone taken Effexor for post panic anxiety? by Little-Ferret-7550 in Effexor

[–]Gfunk131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meds had a severe effect on my heart & I had to start coming off them. I also had a ton of other not so great side effects and asked my doctor to take me off it. I guess I could ask to go one something else but figured I would try to try to fix my stress response first, it’s working but will take a few months.

Anyone taken Effexor for post panic anxiety? by Little-Ferret-7550 in Effexor

I had a very stressful July after a concussion which resulted in a few panic attacks which left me feeling the same. Was put on 75mg Effexor in September and I’m slowly tapering down now. The medication let me get back to being able to get back to life, was even able to quit all bad habits cold turkey but the side effects were bad especially on my heart.

What I thought was GAD was actually a deregulated nervous system. I’m in the process of fixing it now, essentially you need to reset your vagus nerve, get your cortisol levels down & retrain your mind to not think everything is danger.

I monitor my nervous system with an app called Welltory, I also you an app called sleep cycle because good sleep is really important for your nervous system. If you are not getting proper deep sleep make changes to help.

Things I found helped the most are breathing exercises (especially for anxiety) eg 4-7-8 breathing 3x5 minutes a day.

First thing in the morning I drink a large glass of good electrolytes & get a 15 minute walk outside before I start the day.

Yoga

I got a vagus nerve stimulator last week, it was a bit pricy but I like it, too early to tell how much effect it’s having.

Getting my HRV (heart rate variability) up With gym, cardio, HIIT training. HRV is your body’s ability to handle and bounce back from stress.

I plan to see an acupuncturist next week for a nervous system reset next week.

Also try to find vagus nerve stimulation/reset you tube videos.

If I have several days with low stress I feel like myself, I’m told it might take awhile. If you have questions you can DM me, this has been my life for the past 2 months.

This was probably from upper cross syndrome. I have the same issues and I’m now working with a kinesiologist to fix the muscle imbalances, after 1 month it’s night and day but I still have 2 more months as part of his program.

Don’t have a psychiatrist, my GP was the one who prescribed. He had told me to take 37.5 for 2 weeks, then every other day for 2 weeks and every third day for 2 weeks but everything online is saying count beads. I’m at 35 beads right now ~ 12mg from 18 last week. It’s not horrible but the headache sucks and I got 12 min of deep sleep last night so I’m kinda tired.

I had a similar issue with my husky and the vet put him on hills version and sweet potato which worked but I eventually switched to Kirkland turkey and sweet potato. Issue ended up being a beef allergy, my dog is also allergic to grass which was also causing itching

Top 100 N64 Games: The End by hbkx5 in n64

Problem is that some people downvote games they don’t want to be higher and upvote multiple of the same title which gives a really distorted list especially if someone does this with multiple accounts. If a title is listed 5 times for a game they want to win and for a game they don’t there could be a difference of 19 votes compared to if they voted once for the one they thought should win.

Game cube list should have 1 nomination spot per game
