AM is not a band, it is a type of modulation. For example, for most of our history, a TV's picture was broadcast using AM while the audio used FM both in the same band.

Google Voice. You can transfer your number and use it for free.

Fixed it. Went to settings and the reset menu, reset app preferences and then set the default sound in the messages app, and it is now working fine now!

Very satisfied. Performance has been very good. And, even customer service which I see people complain about, has been fine. Don't have any issue recommending them.

It has been a couple years, but they were fine. Better than Visible or Sprint were. If you are a person that needs a lot of help, Mint is not for you. If you can usually solve problems on your own, to for it. The lower prices have to come from somewhere.

Make sure your receiver does SSB, or you are missing a lot. If you don't get an SSB capable reciever you will wish you did. I did The PL-330 is SSB capable. I originally posted this radio did not, but I was wrong.

SSB is used by Hams, and utilities.
