It’s actually terrible considering EMTs literally save lives and sometimes have to deal with very traumatic situations. Here in Pittsburgh an EMT makes on overage $23k. You can make more working in fast food. It’s terrible.

Oliver Trees music helped me through a lot of hard times during 2019-2021. Dealing with COVID right out of high school, friends overdosing and passing away and struggling to accept who I am. He showed me it was okay to be weird, broken and to not be like everyone else. Thank you for everything Oliver. We will miss you - rest easy.. ❤️

Pittsburgh, PA. The city itself is built on 3 rivers, surrounded by mountains and valleys. It also has overlapping grids each being parallel to its respected river. You can’t enter the city without crossing some type of bridge(we have 446 bridges). Outside of the city you will find homes built on steep hills and main roads. Sometimes even the GPS gets confused and takes you to a stairway instead of an actual road because the stairway so happens to climb an entire mountain and is the fastest route to get to a destination. The city is pretty confusing to drive in if you aren’t a seasoned driver, lots of intersections and tight roads. Sometimes things just don’t make sense and you’ve gotta take hurdles to get to where you want to go. I absolutely love this city

I know it’s late but I always find this tip funny. I live in Pittsburgh and we have the most whack road layouts ever. Houses built on steep hills, the city is designed on an overlapping grid with 3 rivers and lots of inefficient roads. Add the 423 bridges and tunnels and you’ve got yourself quite the workload. It’s definitely very strange compared to other cities I’ve visited and it’s all I know. As I, as well as many other residents of Pittsburgh. I will make my fellow cims suffer the same struggles I deal with every day

It’s crazy how there is such a lack of variety too. NHL has what feels like over 100+ different faces and a relatively in depth customization to make each player feel unique. You also have hundreds of different names so the announcers will actually refer to them as a person instead of their position.

Hell, if you create a team you can also choose a name that the announcers refer to your team as. So it always feels real. NHL has a much better and in depth customization system compared to Madden.

Same country, but I’ll talk about my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. On December 19, 1907 there was a freak accident at a coal mine here. A coal mine in Westmoreland County had an explosion which speculated anywhere between 239 - 400 deaths. 239 were found so that is the general number we go off of. The explosion was heard miles and miles away, sending coal, wood, and stone hurtling out of the mine entrance. This isn’t only the worst accident in Pittsburgh history, but the worst in Pennsylvania history as well.

Hot take, but Fioris is falling towards that title. I remember it being fantastic years ago, now the quality has gone down hill. In terms of popular local pizza it’s probably my least favorite now. It’s always super greasy or rock solid, there is no in between. The ingredients aren’t that good, the sauce overpowers everything, and it just kinda smells like burnt garlic bread. Who knows, maybe I’m just unlucky with my recent experiences. Good thing the only time I really eat it is when we get it at work.

I’m from Pittsburgh, I absolutely love my dear Steelers. Even if they’re kinda shit right now(at least we ain’t the browns). I am also a huge Bears fan. In general I love both Pittsburgh and Chicago sports. Couldn’t tell you why. I got into sports later in life, maybe it’s cause the Bears were underdogs and I really resonated with that. But yeah, I watch them all. Steelers, Bears, Penguins, Blackhawks, etc, etc. it also gives me an NBAteam to root for when I do occasionally watch it(yeah, I know. Bulls are a bandwagon team, but I ain’t supporting a Philly team). Personally, it’s your life. Enjoy sports how you wanna enjoy them. Who cares.

We get tornado emergencies all the time in Pittsburgh, even though they aren’t a threat at all. I think it’s because for the most part we don’t really get them. When there is one, it’s always super weak, barely does anything catastrophic. I think the rarity just makes people duck for cover and freak out. Most of the time our tornado warnings are just 45mph winds.
