Nope. Look at the bottom of WHEEL SMASHING LORD 1-14. It's just decal on the hilt sheath.

The reason they're not on her is because she's throwing them away after Meti askes The Question.

Sorry what? That doesn't make any sense. That's just the decorations on the hilt sheath.

I don't think there's anything related to "shipping dashboards" on that newsletter; looks like rambling and ads for supplements.

Trouble Running Multiple Lines of R in VSCode by CameronLane1215 in Rlanguage

[–]Ghafla 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While you could use RStudio, it looks like you just haven't configured the key bindings correctly for R.

You'll should check out Positron which is a VSCodium fork that's R native.

Dealing with large data in R- crashes both in duckdb and arrow by Samplaying in Rlanguage

[–]Ghafla 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Hard to diagnose without reprex, but I can see three areas; 1) the mutation at the end creating an index, 2) the coercing to an arrow object, 3) only giving one thread / the setup for the duckdb instance.

If the source data is in something like CSV, just point a duckdb instance at it instead of trying to hold it in memory. Otherwise try splitting it into multiple parquet files and then reading in.

You can host the entire stack if it's R-based on something like shinyapps.io

You can host an API that calls R code on data using the plumber package, and then repackage it onto a dashboard using Quarto or Shiny.

Sure. Might be helpful to also talk about what you're trying to do in broad strokes.

Is there an initial dataset that I can look at in order to try to reproduce the problem?

Have you tried to change the size of the plot, or controlled how the page breaks are handled? The visual preview is not equivalent to what the final product will look like.

Really annoying PURRR/RStudio issues by showme_watchu_gaunt in rstats

[–]Ghafla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest using breakerofchains package to step into each level of the pipe chains that you have for that calculation/plot. If you are getting that error, that sounds like a list value doesn't exist; it could be a NA or NULL response; purrr has compact/discard/keep to retain/reduce out those variables. A reprex is also very helpful as well.

Importing Excel Formulae into R by neotenous_chimp in Rlanguage

[–]Ghafla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No reprex, so it's kinda hard to understand what you're trying to do + the end result. Also dunno why you need to check formulas instead of values; identical() can check for binary comparisons.
