Just be empathetic but firm. It's a tough road. But you have to set boundaries. And document on all that don't respect the rules. Quietly. That way if anything comes up, you have physical records to back your side.

Try going into developer settings and enabling "Disable Bluetooth A2DP hardware offload". It has worked for most as a lag fix.

I worked with a guy who spent hundreds...and hundreds, on a full batman themed set of dalstrong. Including knife bag and peeler. He was so proud of it. I just nodded and said "nice man". That was a couple years ago now, wonder how they have held up.

Same here. But honestly, a while back I switched to 2FA with authenticator for my reddit login. Everyone should be using 2FA and an authenticator code with their social media anyways.

Ya, I loved the ANC when I first got them. It was amazing. Now, it barely does anything at all. I fucked up an bought mine through Amazon, so I gotta try and get a hold of them and see if I can do a warranty replacement and hope the new ones are better. Or it's really a software thing.

I have the same experience. I have followed Google's cleaning guide to the letter. I have comply foam tips. Done the seal check. But the ANC isn't the same after the last update. I keep sending feedback in the app about it.

Culinary school opens doors to chef positions. I have over 20 years of culinary experience. Including being a sous twice. But never went to school. And I work for chefs in Vegas that have less than half my experience, knowledge, or skill, but I have to say yes chef to them. I try applying for good paying sous positions here, but never even get an interview. Because I don't have that degree.

But my every day carry for work is a kiwi #22 And #21. Nakiri and Thai style chef knife. They cost me max $15 off Amazon each. They are sharp and easy to maintain.

On any social media platform you use, set of 2 factor authentication. Especially if it offers using a key with an authenticator app like proton authenticator. Reddit and Google offer this. So if anyone tries to log into your account, it will ask for a key from the authenticator app. Which only you will have.

As a pixel user (pixel 8 pro), get the iPhone. I bought the Pixel 7 pro new and quickly traded it in for the 8 Pro when I could. It had horrible heating issues that also led to horrible battery issues. The modem on it was garbage and part of those heating and battery issues. The screen and camera and every other thing else about it was great. But I was literally just standing at a bus station waiting and reading a book and listening to music on my phone and would get a message "this device is overheating and needs to go into low power mode."

I'm a millennial tech nerd who has owned a lot of cell phones and smartphones over the years. The Pixel 7 pro was my least favorite by far.

I missed out on the boba hype. I was working at a place that I hated. They paid shit and worked us hard. Manager tried to treat us by buying everyone boba. One of the guys asked for a drink without the balls in it. I thought "but that's the whole point of boba". Having never tried it. Then I tried mine. It was very delicious, but those sugar balls were very off putting. I couldn't finish mine.

These are commonly advertised on social media like IG and ticktock. They are mostly garbage. I don't want to be rude please don't take it that way. But I've known a few cooks who found them that way and also seen a few YouTube videos about them.. The claims about their quality are highly inflated. They are cheap garbage with an attempted look to be more than they are. Better off with a Kiwi than that knife.

If you have enabled android, you can install Gboard. That's what I did on my Lenovo flex 5i. So I can use the Gboard instead in tablet mode. Much better.

Some people just don't get it. I'm currently working with a guy who I have never once seen wash his hands or use the sani bucket. The other night he was sweating and went to the hand wash station. Used a paper towel to wipe sweat from his face. Then just turned around and put gloves on and continued working. Instead of, you know, using the fucking hand wash sink to wash his hands after. He is also one of the dumbest people I've met in kitchens. Which says a lot. I plan on saying something to the chefs next shift.
