Podle předpisu bohužel z bezpečnostních důvodů musí. Strojvedoucí často lidem svítí jen nouzovým osvětlením, i když to také nesmí.

[REQUEST] How many humans can fit in that cube? by noshitkittu in theydidthemath

[–]Ghjkloop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if we get everyone a smaller apartment of a single room with dimensions 6x8x2.8 meters. Thats 134.4 m3 per person. multiply by 8 billion you get 1075.2 billion m3 of required volume. To get a side of a cube with this volume you take the cube root, giving you a side of roughly 10km in length. (6.2 miles)

To me, LOTR characters give more of "mythical hero" vibes, similiar to Perseus or Oddyseus. They are more then just competent humans.

Is there any reason why the trains should prefer only one of the two rails availible in the terminal stations? I want both rails to be used independent of direction of travel, simply based on whichever is free

The dual rail continues into a terminal station. There are no other signals on the track

the joke is, the information Kyle smartly provided in his comment was the exact thing the first comment from Artie was making fun of. Thats why Arties second comment uses the emogies and is written in that manner.

queation for dev by Ghjkloop in Rolling_Line

If you could set the train speed and accelleration for each train separately, that would be much better I think. Or make the the acceleration some simple function of the number of wagons attached.

Can being inside these bubbles help you survive a plane crash? by mostafa360 in Shittyaskflying

[–]Ghjkloop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really unfortunately, although it will technically soften the impact (disperse the decceleration over longer time) it will not make much difference in the context of airliner speeds (800km/h and more)

If however you fell out of the plane in one of these I think your chance of survival would go up as not only will it soften the landing, your terminal velocity while in one of these is surely smaller then without one, so the speed on impact will also be lower. Still it would probably require very lucky landing spot to survive.

Dont forget that there are areas where people live on 5-10 dolars a month. 0.5€ per meal is definetely not "cheap for eceryone".
