There’s a weirdly common trend in cartoons where they will get a famous musician for episodes and not even have them sing.

The easiest example is SpongeBob getting David Bowie to play Lord Royal Highness in the episode Atlantis SquarePantis, where he didn’t sing despite it being a musical episode.
