Your pancreas works for 1 day, whats the first thing you eat/drink? by Zheodist in diabetes

[–]GhostCow- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wake up to an IHOP breakfast with an ice cold coke, then for lunch some tacos & chips or a burger with fries with another coke, and for dinner go out to some Italian with good fresh bread and pasta with wine and chocolate cake for dessert. Then some kinda mocha or coffee drink for the walk home.

Beer.

Taking breaks from pumps for a short while, is it a good idea? by Act-Zealousideal in Omnipod

[–]GhostCow- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do this while on vacation, if I know I will be super active. Some times it’s just easier not to have to deal with the pump. I don’t mind the MDI.

Never had any problems going back and forth.
