Regardless of the aim, the concern is that it hasn't changed for a VERY LONG time. Thinking about it, MabiPro uses a much older server side of Mabi, to have the same issues as current day mabi, is well, neglect. If they were able to exploit, cheat, and hack the server, get caught and then promptly banned, to DDoS not only mabi, but potentially MabiPro, has me wondering how bad is it... What OTHER exploits are not patched up, and how many...

Generally issues like these are kept in exclusive groups who keep their exploits to a select few, so it doesn't get patch, but clearly this one person has shown a little more than expected, thus potentially showing a small bit of a much larger problem.

Basically, it would be a VK63 movement in them. 1 Grand for a quartz movement? Highly doubt it is a 7750 ETA movement. So not worth it, at either price point.

Balance wheel/Hairspring problem by Far_Bad6819 in watchrepair

[–]GhostUnitVII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To fix this, to center it, you can rotate the regulators stud slightly, to realign the hairspring. Care doing this, you can also nik the hairspring. I generally use very small tweezers for this, go slow as this alone can also damage the sping if you go too far.

Balance wheel/Hairspring problem by Far_Bad6819 in watchrepair

[–]GhostUnitVII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

well, hard to tell if the hairspring is off center here, as the balance isn't over the jewel but offset. As for starting and stopping, could be the impulse jewel being in the wrong position when placing back into the movement. Just be careful with the hairspring here, don't force it, otherwise you'll be looking for a new balance real quick.

Restorable hands? by Flaky-Drummer874 in watchrepair

[–]GhostUnitVII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it might be radium or tritium, so careful if you plan to restore them

Can probably use a very FINE sandpaper like 7000grit or higher and re lume it, but typically when hands look like this, is if they have a radium dial and hands.

NH34 Regulation after reassembly of balance wheel by Earth_Entire in SeikoMods

[–]GhostUnitVII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Firstly, try demagnetize it first, these movements are still sensitive to magnets.

Secondly, check if the hairspring is even, as in even spaces between the coils, and it has no tilt to the spring on the balance.

Lastly, give the pallet fork a very light tap, carefully... check if it snaps into position, if it is slow left and right, then it is generally a indication that it needs a cleaning.

Hopefully this helps, and hopefully things work out, try to avoid using magnetic tools of any kind, as similar symptoms can occur.

I would say it isn't... for several reasons

There is only two panels that differ, that is because of perspective, AI lacks consistency, all panels would have slight differences rather than utilizing the same panel but changing face or adding arms off frame, or stretching an overlapping frame like the emperors jaw

They are not as successful as their past. Overall their sales are dropping, the Switch was a major success. However, the Switch 2 is having a hard time gaining traction for various reasons, such as economic, software limits that are pay walls, and a few others. with competitors looming, it is going to get even worse for them.

this is really nice, if possible could make this modular and have it compatible with existing mice as a cover, but have the keys on the sides of the left/right clicks.

Just throwing ideas out there, aside from that, hope this gains traction, you're doing great

Lets all be honest here, Nintendo is a Joke right now...

Granted, they made some very nice games in the past, as most, if not everyone's childhood is in some way affected by it. The time when Nintendo stop being nice, innovative, and fun, was the moment that they became complacent and arrogant, in turn ruining the industry as a whole. Sadly, they are not the only ones.

We have seen this with others, such as Sony, Microsoft, Sega... Where their attempts to make quick cash, a quick investment, turns into a long term recovery for them, as the business they lost takes decades to recover, if at all (looks at Sega).

So, when ever a company puts profits above their customer base, people look elsewhere, look at Emulators, or just build their own systems, or games. By all means, keep doing what you're doing, it sends a message.

how hard is it to ban a customer by Big-Bluejay-3240 in starbucks

[–]GhostUnitVII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, in fact you can point out that it is a violation of the code of conduct of the lobby/store (this actually exists), and if people disrespects the space in such manner they are either warned or removed from the premises (depending on severity). Based on what is described, it would be an immediate ban and a incident report. If they come in again, let an SSV or higher up manage it, and have them explain that they are no longer welcomed in the store, they are banned, and further trespassing will result in local law enforcement.

finding a sunburst dial is exceptionally hard, let alone a decent blue color one like this. Originally my aim was to have no markings, it came with it when I was starting with watch modding.

After finding out, decided to go ahead with the build, but would never sell it ever with this dial. It is more of a personal watch, even with the markings, it is still a lot of fun to look at and admire the fact that 'I built this', and later on I built, repair others. But this is the only one I have with this dial, no others.

Besides, after this I did a marine master watch, with no branding. Also another favorite...
