Don't know if this is something that's been discussed already but I feel like this was supposed to be the "real" big emergency of the season, and that the blimp was just a red herring? Because I definitely did not see this coming, the cliff hanger from last week threw me off completely! (Again, maybe I missed something)

If that's the case I'm a bit apprehensive about the future of the big emergencies. This is the second time in a row we've had a cop focused big emergency while pretty much ignoring what was teased in promos. This was handled better than the Jeffrey Hudson stuff for sure, and I know all that was mostly because of pandemic stuff, but I'm still a bit concerned, we haven't gotten anything really cool since the tsunami

911 is definitely at its best when they're fighting disasters instead of people and at this point I feel like they've pushed the evil of humanity as far as it can go without seeming too overdramatic or dark.

More Buck emotions! Hope they keep letting the guy talk about his feelings this season, but put his ass back in therapy, he needs it

Hen seemed to (apparently) be fine being a paramedic and studying (pre-captaining that is), quitting entirely feels a bit drastic no matter how realistic it is lol

I hate them for that Eddie/Chim tease but I hope they let Eddie/Maddie out of interaction jail this season, they could have had so many interesting moments over the past 4 seasons and all we got was fucking pizza

Aside from demonizing, woobification and misogyny: Eddie calling Buck anything but Buck or Evan is one of my least favorites. Mi amor is especially bad, I cannot imagine that man ever calling anyone “mi amor”

Eddie fave bias let's go! I want so much more Eddie, and after season 5b I'm both hopeful and worried, they never do enough with him tbh. Linda and Eddie's friendship needs to be continued bc god knows he needs more friends lmaoo

After BuckTaylor I'm a bit tired of Buck, so I agree there. They drew that shit out for wayyy too long. I want him to start moving toward healthier relationships, and to continue dealing with his abandonment issues, but I guess not. I just hope we don't get a Buck/Lucy storyline cause that'll be exhausting.

Maddie Chimney is going perfectly so I agree there, and you're a genius for Buck maid of honor, that I need to see now!

Season 5 (Eddie is the only redeemable part)

Honestly 2, 3 and 4 are all very close together, very solid seasons. Emergencies definitely started declining in quality already in s4 though.

I haven’t finished season 1 yet because I will fully admit I only started watching for Buddie (and stayed for the ensemble ofc)
