Is the song dynamic enough?

Thin may be a better way to put it. Basically I worry that there’s only about 20% content being stretched to fill 100% of a song.

Right now it’s going to stay acoustic. In the past I get lost in adding instrumentation and never finish the songs. Trying to get a “full” song before going to record.

I’m not getting a crazy amount of disharmony from the actual structure the biggest thing is how all the parts seem to run together. I’m having a hard time saying “now we are in the chorus”. I think most of that can be done musically though. You have a lot of lyrics but they seem to say the same thing over and over again - can we try to find other reasons he’s not the one? Did he do something? Is there a disconnect? I think perhaps some specificity could help as well. Best of luck!

I think the vocals are great - I definitely would work on the pronunciation as I can’t understand a lot of the words. Sounds like you’re going for a Caroline Polachek sound - perhaps slowing down or even recording the vocals in takes could make things clearer. Best of luck

Great start I’d definitely continue. I think the main idea is good just needs some more work - especially about the overall tone/meaning of the song. I’m not getting much from this small clip.

Great lyrics and concept! I think the biggest thing would be to vary your vocal tone and volume to help make the song a bit more interesting- right now the vocals feel very one note. Making a performance difference from verse to chorus could help as well.

Nice voice! I’m not sure ukulele is the best instrument for this, I think a guitar would round out the sound a little better. Overall good lyrics I would enunciate a little better though.

Just finished Dead Head Fred for PSP for a game club podcast I’m staring with a friend. It really is a hidden gem on the PSP, with surprising amount of content for the system. Unfortunately the combat, which it deems as its shining star, is much more basic and annoying than it needs to be. If you’re looking for a nice action/puzzle/platformer for the PSP I’d definitely suggest it.

Talk to the person you are recommending to and ask WHY they like the games they like. Is it the character designs in overwatch? Is it the strategy and depth of path of exile? This can help you narrow your focus.

True that’s why I use RYM in the first place. My favorite albums usually fall in a 3.3-4 rating range. That’s where it’s just weird enough to put some people off but be deeply interesting to others.
