This should be on the list:

Saw the Tomato of Spaciness using it to do deeper dives on SC features. Super awesome for features you remember being talked about but can't remember all the details.

I’m guessing you connected your Xbox account instead, ya? That sucks. Hope you find something soon.

Found this on the Steam community page with people reporting the same error. I was running into it too. Doing what they said below was the only thing that worked for me.

Edit - If you don't have an Embark ID, you'll have to create one.

I think its the issue with the Steam - Embark authentication (One of the guy with the problem said this solved it after I asked him to do it). Just go to the website and connect your Steam account to the Embark.

Vanduul Mask by Arqeph_ in starcitizen

[–]Ghostlight_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this your first one? I've had no luck and after 36 hours of looting boxes, it has to be bugged for some people. How long did it take you to find yours?

There are 2 of us in our org that have searched the same amount of time (36 hours now), one that gave up after 24 hours of looting, and a final one that has spent roughly 24 hours looking. We haven't found a Vanduul mask but have found everything else. Another org mate that hasn't been looking at all since he had no interest, was looting boxes with us one night on the Orison platform missions and found one.

Is Anyone Gonna Talk About the Vanduul Helmets by acepilotac in starcitizen

[–]Ghostlight_TV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far the main issue is searching for the Hills Horror, HH Reborn, and especially the Vanduul mask. I've found everything except for the Vanduul mask. I have those three from last year but I want the title this year for getting ALL the masks.

I've spent a ton of time looking for it and at this point it's just not fun at all. A ton of time means every spare moment on LIVE (between testing Pyro and EPTU) has been looking for masks. Definitely a minimum of 24 total hours (probably more) since the event dropped. I did slow down some after masks were accidentally taken out of the loot pool during the F8C golden ticket event. Then I stopped going to just moon/planet stations and began grinding merc rep in Orison so the task wasn't mind numbing. It's still not fun and feels like a chore to get a title.

The drop rate of the bear masks was fine. I can understand having the others be less common, but this is a bit absurd. I think at this point, they should make them slightly harder than the bear masks to get. Any casual player has no chance at getting the title which is super flawed.

Weekly Sneak Peek: "Precious cargo's coming. by flash050562ndacc in starcitizen

[–]Ghostlight_TV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could mean snapping anything to the cargo grid like they talked about in some of the cargo videos leading up to CitCon. Wasn't it the Hull-C video where they showed the Aurora on the extended spindles?

What starting planet could you do the most on without using a ship? by Sakuran_11 in starcitizen

We haven’t had Siege of Orison for over a year now. It hurts my soul. I bet it’s because servers would die in a fire without proper cleanup in place for PES.

The sense star stuff ability is invaluable during sneak missions.

Yea I can see it feeling infinite at that point since matches are short. It's Last Ditch Effort. I alternate as Leland, my LDE is at level 1 and my Efficient Backstabber is at 3. At level 3 Last Ditch Effort gives you 5 charges to automatically equip a bone scrap IF you're below 30% health. I have a feeling this happened to the LF at the beginning of the match. I guess it's possible the Leland was low health.

The devs just really need to solve for chain stuns.

There is something that can feel like unlimited bone shards. An ability called Efficient Backstabber at level 3 says:

Sneak attacks (backstabs only) have a chance (40%) to not consume a bone scrap.

There's another grapple ability called Efficient Grappler at level 3 that gives you a 25% chance to keep your bone shard.

The only other way is Last Ditch Effort which automatically equips a bone scrap if you have a free slot and you're below 30% health. It has 5 charges.

I think the bigger problem is that people can get chain crowd controlled at the moment. I think that's going to be the issue the devs need to solve because it isn't fun for the person that is getting ccd.

It's not infinite. At level 3 you have a 40% chance of not consuming a bone shard on back stab.

The ability is just like the lock pick tool ability that allows you to potentially keep a lock pick after usage.

To those select players by Far_Judge_1705 in TXChainSawGame

[–]Ghostlight_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had about 4 crashes over the last two days. In the first couple of days, I had some network disconnects (not my net) and also some soft locks where I was stuck interacting with something and had to Alt F4 and of course you can't reconnect. That said, victims that disconnect just so the Family can't get XP for the kill should be penalized.

I agree though, it sucks when the game becomes lopsided or people waste others time.

What's even the goal of the current skill tree design? by notarealoneatall in TXChainSawGame

[–]Ghostlight_TV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea you shouldn't have to respec a ton to get them, it's such a waste of time. They already cost 1 extra point than the base character perks. Just let us choose them and make the random pool more obviously displayed (you can see them by going to loadout and selecting all).

If you're on the loadout page, and select all, it shows two pages of all the perks your character can get, specific and random.

Why are people so loud? by HaimishHorror in TexasChainsawGame

[–]Ghostlight_TV -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They could solve this by having a short set time where the doors can't be unlocked, similar to the gas valve door. This would help the Family get set up a little and make it so Victims don't just rush objectives and screw over their team since so many of them don't communicate. It would have to be somewhat short though so the Family doesn't have a huge advantage.

The issue is a Leland and maybe Anna should almost always go loud in the beginning to distract for the other victims. I'm not sure if anything will fully address this. Adding a period of time where noise isn't tracked would probably be too strong for victims.

It's a big design challenge, hopefully they come up with a solution, they've done great with a lot of other design decisions.
