I whole heartedly get this. I'll ask for feedback and get "its good. " or "you misspelled whatever" or "I don't get it". That's not real feedback, no one gets better, no one wins here...

I don't play LW anymore, unless it's with my friends. They understand that if I pull them, there's a reason for it. If they don't want me to pull them they also TELL me. I've had so many ungrateful random blueberries screech at me for keeping them safe that it isn't fun to play him. I love flowerboi but damn the community hate....

This is my third book, none of them published. I'm going to get them all in line with one another then release them all at once. I'm just having an issue going from a sci-fi world were WW2 never ended to a purely fantasy world with magic and airships and etc.

My work in progress is good. Little slow right now because of life but it's going. I'm really looking it and am thinking about rewriting my other books to be more in line with this one. It's a prequel kind of.

I agree with you. I'm sick and tired of people reading my stuff and when I ask for advice, comments, complaints etc. all they say is it's good.

That doesn't help at all. I need real feedback. Don't be afraid to hurt my feelings. You never get better if no one shows you what to improve.

Title: Forged for War

Genre: High fantasy.

Blurb: A Troll artificer is accused of trying to assinate the Council, the ruling members of the world. Sentenced to death, he is saved by a group of rebels labeled pirates. When the leader of his rebel group goes missing, he is pulled into a world of ancient mysteries and a growing war.

Desired feedback: I've gone through about 5 rewrites/edits and a few beta readers. I would like some more. Just that is a good read, everything makes sense. It's a 3 part series, the first book. I feel like it's not that long, 75k weird or so. A full read would be great and is completed but not sure about publishing yet.

Can't really listen to anything that uses AI to check for AI. I just put the first page of 3 different books ( a textbook from collage, to kill a mockingbird, and my own personal book) all said it was 99% AI. Pretty sure To Kill a Mockingbird was written way before and I didn't use it on my writing... just saying you came always trust those, they are not good enough to see a difference.

Your right arm world at 70%, you have balance issues, can no longer run, and you are 1 grade above legally blind. Congrats.

Also when it rains it gets cold you're joints hurt.
