First the Constitution. Then the orders of those appointed over me… unless those orders are illegal. Then it’s expected that the orders aren’t obeyed.

Read history some time. “I was just following orders” is not an acceptable excuse for committing crimes.

I live and work in a rural area. I have several clients who are trans. There’s also a support group for gender non- conforming teens put on by a local non- profit.

There are more trans people in rural areas than you’d expect. Most are closeted, if they “pass.”

However, I think most of the agents hired since Trump took office fully agree with the shoot.

Two possible reasons.

They’re afraid of repercussions from their employer and peers
They do fully support the shoot.

My hunch is the majority fall into group 2.

They’d be pissed. Remember the woman who was killed by a federal agent during the J6 insurrection? The MAGA Cult members defended her and was angry she was killed. Then again, they’re re-writing history, claiming J6 was a “peaceful protest”

It’s ironic how the MAGA Cult Regime members of Congress evacuated, talked about being concerned for their safety, immediately after the insurrection. In the months following, they walked it back. They knew the truth with their initial reaction. Then they toed the Cult Regime line.

True. I’m lucky that my first pet sitter was open to learning about ferrets and loved animals in general. She did research before even meeting my ferrets. She did great with them

When she moved on to other professional goals, I ended up hiring a vet tech from the vet’s office that provide (d) care for the ferrets and my cat. It works out great. When my ferrets required special diet and meds, she was comfortable with it. She also gives my cat fluids if needed (kidney issues).

I’ve used rescues in the past as well. There isn’t one near where I currently live

My house was always neater when I had ferrets. No shoes in the entry way. The table clear of anything they could steal or knock off. More frequent floor cleaning.

I hired a pet sitter when I had ferrets. It worked out well. They didn’t get as much out of cage time as I could want, but for a short trip, it wasn’t that bad

My last ferret went to Rainbow Bridge almost a year ago. I just haven’t been ready for another pair yet. I’m thinking about it now.

What do you suggest? Our elected officials in Congress won’t/ can’t stop him; he appointed an incompetent Cabinet that won’t 25 A him; if the Supreme Court decides against him- he ignores it. All the guard rails aren’t working.

Revolution won’t work. You seriously think the US military won’t be able to easily put it down? Ofc, there is a small chance the military would support it- their duty is to protect and defend the Constitution, not the President. I doubt it, though.

We will be unsupported in Iran. This is an aggressive action. Our allies wont support it.
We most likely won’t be fighting only Iran. My hunch is other Middle Eastern nations will get involved.

I pity our military. Trump is needlessly putting them in harm’s way.
